A/N: So, this little 'fic is the result of a rampant plot bunny that came to me in the middle of the night a few days ago. It is a selection of drabbles of how people at Hogwarts reacted to Scorpius Malfoy, starting off with their first glimpses off him, or how they first heard about him coming to Hogwarts, or their first meeting. This has not been beta-d but simply re-adjusted a few times until I was happy with it. I like to think my grammar and spelling is of a reasonable quality! If you could, then I would greatly appreciate a review telling me what you liked and didn't like, and if you have any character requests then I will try and oblige!
Another Generation, Another Malfoy
"Granddad Weasley would never forgive you if you married a pure-blood"
Lily looked round to face her Uncle Ron, curious as to what he and Rose were talking about. She followed Rose's gaze to a tall, slightly balding man with pure white hair. He was stood with a woman and a boy (Lily presumed this was his son due to the pure white hair the boy was sporting). This must be who Uncle Ron is talking about, thought Lily, but why is he telling Rose to beat him in every class? Does he have some sort of grudge?
As all the Weasley's and the Potter's not going to Hogwarts piled into the old (strangely larger on the inside) Ford Anglia, Lily turned to her Father. "Who was that blonde man at the station Daddy?" she asked. "Him?" Harry replied, "That was Draco Malfoy, he went to Hogwarts with us" he motioned around the car to all who had been present during those years. "His son seems to be starting Hogwarts this year, like Albus and Rose. Why are you asking?"
"Just curious... Uncle Ron, why don't you like his son?"
"Now Lils-"Ron turned from the steering wheel and the car swayed precariously, "Malfoy was an evil little ("Ronald, watch your language!") When we knew him, and I bet five galleons his kid turns out to be just like him!"
"Come on Ron; give the kid a chance..."
"Yeah Uncle Ron, people can change you know."
The car went slightly faster as Ron pushed the accelerator a little harder than necessary in annoyance. Hermione looked at Ron warningly. "Lily could be right you know. I mean- You've never even met the boy before." Ron glared at his wife. "Urgh, do we have to talk about that slimy git and his kid all the way home?".
There was an awkward moment of silence in the car before Hugo half-shouted "Are there any chocolate frogs left in your bag, mum?". A wave of chuckles convulsed through the car as Hugo ripped into a chocolate frog, then quickly offered one to Lily, so as not to look too greedy. She politely declined, her mind still on the blonde-haired boy at the station. Only two more years, she 'till Hogwarts, she thought wistfully.
