hi again, okay so this is set during movie night in season 4, only my 2nd fanfic so give your opinion and hints, anything will be accepted...even ideas 4 new stories! read and review and let me know whether to carry on or not...if soi do already have a chapter 2 so i might post it as a sequel and see what happens!ok so here we go...

Previously: 'Luke, are you seriously telling me that you have never seen Casablanca?' Lorelai asked.

'Uh, yes?' a now worried Luke replied, 'but before-'but Luke was cut off by Lorelai 'Okay then, my house 8pm, and bring food!' Luke was just about to object but couldn't, as Lorelai had already rushed out of the diner and was on her way down the street towards the inn.

Later that evening:

'Now Luke after the objection to the squidging, you can now never squidge, talk during movie night, no phone calls, no talking whatsoever etc. now…are you sure you're situated?' Lorelai asked.

'For Gods sake, yes! Just start the movie!' Luke said, getting rather frustrated.

'Well okay then…' and as she said this, Lorelai hit the play button on the remote.

After about 15 minutes, Luke and Lorelai were in the middle of a discussion, 'Yeah, I would hate to be Rory right now, stuck in the middle of a date. I never dated, I hate dating,' Luke was babbling on about dating seeing as Rory had just rung from one of her dates. 'What? So how did you get to have a girlfriend?' Lorelai questioned.

'Gut feelings. I get it just here,' Luke said pointing to his lower abdomen, 'I felt it with Rachel, I felt it with Nichole, I feel it with you-' Realising what he had just said, Luke looked over to Lorelai who was looking directly into his eyes and noticed something different in her eyes. Something new. 'Erm…So anyway…' Luke tried to cover his mistake by pressing the play button.
