It was Christmas morning; everyone at Shigure's house was enjoying a nice breakfast together. They were anxious though, because they received an invitation from Akito to spend Christmas at the Main House. They got dressed, packed their gifts and some snacks Tohru made, and headed out to the Main House. The entire estate was beautiful with all the snow, and all the houses had lights hanging from the roof; but the Main House looked more festive than the others. They walked in and saw the rest of the Zodiac, included those Tohru hasn't met yet.
Akito sat at a small table in the sitting room with a cup of coffee in his hand and was playfully bickering with his sister; but it ended when Teri stood up and went to give Shigure a kiss. Akito lovingly eyed Tohru and smiled at her, and she smiled back. Then just as everyone was getting settled into the sitting room around the huge Christmas tree and putting their gifts underneath it, Akito pulled Tohru aside out onto the porch. He gave her a look of love and guilt.
"Tohru, I want to apologize," he said, "for what I did to you. It was wrong, I shouldn't have done it, and I should've just heard you out. I do want us to be friends; in fact I want us to be more than friends."
Akito then got down on one knee and opened a little box which revealed a silver diamond ring. Tohru was in utter shock.
"I know it's a little early," Akito went on, "but I gotta do this. Tohru Honda, will you marry me?"
"Yes," said Tohru through happy tears. Akito got up and put the ring on Tohru's finger. They both admired for a moment, and then Akito leaned in and gave Tohru a passionate kiss.
After a few minutes, they went inside and revealed the amazing news, and then it was time for gifts. To everyone's surprise, Akito got everybody the new iphone5. They were all pleased with Akito's kindness, and the fact that he changed from being fearful to friendly, and protective when he has to be. They all enjoyed a wonderful Christmas together.
