Fall To Pieces

Disclaimer: I don not own beyblade. Kane one-shot cause nobody every writes about Kane.

Cracks and roars of the falling building rang through the air of the city. From the outside, barely visible from the smoke, you could see a red-haired girl supporting a blue-haired boy as they hightail it out of the dangerous place.

"Kane! Salima!" a small, blonde-haired boy cries. He runs up to the duo. "You're ok! Thank go! I was so worried!"

The red-haired girl, Salima, smiles triumphantly as her leader falls to the ground coughing. "We did it, Kane. We did it!" she smiles. "She turns to the worried blonde. "We're ok, Jim."

A brown haired boy, Goki, walks over to the three of his friends. "I never thought you'd make it."

Kane shudders as he feels the rumbling of the building fall. He got to his feet and walked over toward the rubble. "I did this?" he questions, dazed.

Salima runs over to the boy. "Kane! You were possessed by the cyber-dragoon!" she protests.

Kane bends down and picks up a scrap of metal from the ground. It was green. "This is a piece from my old beyblade," he muses. "I can't believe I did this. And Salima? It is my fault. I never tried to stop this from happening. I wanted the power!" Tears fill his blue eyes. "But I…I never wanted this to happen. I give up…I give up…" he sobs, falling to his knees.

"But Kane…you never give up! You're will always makes you succeed!" Jim protests. H sets a hand on the purple of Kane's horrendous uniform. The one that all three of them are wearing.

Kane glanced up dully at the boy. "Could my will fix this?" he questions. His hand indicates to the rubble all around them. "Could my will fix the Blade-Breakers' heavy spirits? Could my will fix their trashed blades? Could my will fix you're spirits that have been crushed by this atrocity?" he snaps. "I don't think so…"

"Kane…" Salima mumbles, watching her leader and friend sob as he punches the ground in fury. "It's ok…we're here for you." She bends down and envelops him in a hug.

"Salima…why?" he murmurs into her shoulder, trying desperately to halt his tears. He fails and cries heavily into her shoulder as she thinks of what to say.

Salima smiles and runs her fingers through his blue hair protectively. "Because we're your friends, Kane. We would never let anything happen to you. We will get you back on your feet in no time!"

Kane frowns. "No you won't…" he retorts. "I said I gave up and I mean it. I will never do anything that could harm my friends again. Never…" he mumbles. "Not even if it meant giving up what I hold dear to myself."

Kneeling down, Jim takes one look at Kane's serious face and sighs. "Kane, we won't let you do that. We might even be forced to pound some sense into you, Kane. Right Goki? Salima?" He smiles a crooked grin as Kane's face pales.

"I guess…I could let you help," He murmurs, leaning into Salima's grasp. "I guess I could…thank you."
