A/N: Since everyone seems to be doing drabbles at the moment, I thought I'd give it a go. This is something I came up with out of the blue. I want to do a series of 20, inspired by prompts from my fantastic reviewers, beginning NOW! Anonymous reviews enabled!
A quiet whisper. A passing touch. A lingering of soft gazes. Those were the only signs Merlin dared allow be seen by any vague passer-by.
And to any vague passer-by, this would not be seen as much he hoped. Unless, of course, that passer-by was Gwen, who's gentle intuition rendered her far less than vague and clueless.
"You like her, don't you?" she coaxed.
A rosy blush coloured Merlin's high cheek bones as he slipped her a shy smile and his blue eyes grew round with admiration as he remembered the beauty of the object of his affection.
"She's wonderful…"
