It was a cold November night when it happened. As silent as a grave and yet he watched it happen. He watched as the gun was shot, as the blood came gushing out, as they hit the ground with a soundless thump.
The killer looked towards me, I felt shivers go down my spine, my breath hitched.
'He's looking at me this is bad, maybe if I hust stay quiet he won't do anything.' Luffy thought to himself as the killer started walking towards him.
Closer and closer they got until they were right there looking down on the little raven haired boy. The killer was staring blankly at him for a minute before a wicked smiled that made the younger boy tremble as he sat there shaking.
'What is he going to do?' he thought to himself. The killer knelt down onto his knees so that his face was just inches away from luffy's.
"Your breath stinks." Luffy stated plainly while covering his nose. The killer glared at Luffy becoming quite angry. He liffted his hand and smacked the boy across the face.
Luffy touched his face where he has been slapped. He looked at the older man with tearful eyes before lifting up his fist and punching the man as hard as he could.
But try as he might the man grabbed the kids fist mid-punch and glared angirly at him.
"You know where im going to take you boy?" the man sneered. Luffy could only shake his head. No he had no idea, well maybe food that seemed like a good idea. Luffy smiled at the thought,"Are you going to take me to some meat?" forgetting about the earlier violence.
The man sighed, but then let go of the boys fist to snatch his wrists."Im selling you to be a slave." the man stated as he started dragging him.
Luffy thought for a second,"Is there meat there?" he asked but was answered with a grunt in reply.
Luffy was suddenly put at hault when the man picked the kid up by his wrists and started inspecting him. Luffy stared blankly at him somewhat confused,'Why'd he stop arent we going to get some meat?' he thought but was brought O ut of his thoughts as the man pulled out something shiny and pointy.
"Whats th-" Luffy got interrupted however, when the man shoved the pointy thing in his side. Luffy screamed in pain as the 'thing' was being injected in him.
The older man smiled the wickedest smile Luffy has ever seen. The man dropped him back onto the ground, Luffy got onto his feet but was having a little trouble staying that way, as the world started spinning and his vision was suddenly filled with black dots. Luffy grunted as he fell to the ground, body unmoving.
The man smiled at the the now fallen boy. He was going to sell this one for a lot of berries. He walked over to the child picking him up and tossing him over his shoulder.
All Luffy could see was the blurriness of his vison barley making out the dark figure of the man before. He delt his eyeeyelids start to get heavy as his vision turned to nothingness.
