Forever and Always!
Emily sat at the table waiting for Hotch to come home and as the hours got later she got more and more worried.
He was supposed to be here by now, back from work and at home with her. She was sure he would've called to let her know he would be late. She waits a little longer, starting to get worried, there's no one in the driveway and no one says they had seen him. She's starting to wonder if something was wrong.
She was just about to look back at the window when her phone called. She ran to get her phone and answered it 'Aaron?' Emily answered desperately, she wanted to know if he was okay.
'Agent Emily Prentiss?' an unfamiliar voice spoke on the line.
'Yes this is Emily…' she was getting a really bad feeling.
'Something has happened and Agent Hotchner is in hospital'
'I'll be right there' Emily said, she almost dropped her phone, whilst trying to hang up, being in a rush to get out of the door.
As she drove, her mind went to December, she thinks of when he asked her, in the park with the lake and the sun going down, some snow melting of the trees, they were sitting peacefully, his arms wrapped around her when he suddenly moved, she frowned and he smiled at her lovingly and gave her a sweet kiss before going down on his knees, she gasped with shock tears in her eyes already.
He said with tears 'I want you forever, forever and always, through the good and the bad and the ugly, we'll grow old together, forever and always, I love you Emily Prentiss, will you be my wife?' he opened the box and showed her the amazing diamond ring.
She pulls up to the entrance, walking to the front desk they lead her down a millions halls, a maze that's never ending.
They talk about what happened but she can barely hear them, something about a car crash, the only thought in her mind was if he was okay or not.
As she gets there, she tries to keep a straight face as she walks into the room, but seeing him like that was difficult and she was starting to lose it. She sits by his bedside and holds his hand tightly, not wanting to let go.
Emily talks about the kids they're going to have, the wedding, the good life and the house on the hillside, where they would stay, stay there forever, forever and always, through the good and the bad and the ugly, 'we'll grow old together and always remember whether rich or for poor or for better, we'll still love each other forever and always'
A few days later she suddenly gets an idea, it was the day he woke up and they were all so happy, she calls in the nurses and then asks them, they seem a little hesitant at first but agree in the end. She brings up the Chaplin and the rest of the team, he says a couple of verses and she gets their rings, everyone's laughing as their tears fall to the floor.
She tries wiping a tear away as she looks into his eyes and she says 'I want you forever… Forever and always, through the good and the bad and the ugly, we'll grow old together and always remember… Whether happy or sad or whatever, we'll still have each other forever and always… Forever and always Aaron, I love you' she finishes the vows but the beeps are getting too slow and his voice is almost too low, but the team hear as he says 'I… Love you forever… forever and always please just remember… Even if I'm not there… I'll always love you… forever and always…' He finished his vows and gave her one last kiss…
