SPIDER-MAN: The Spider-Verse Wars
Chapter One: Just a Typical Day in New York (Or is it?)
Now you might not know this (Unless you do) but this is a reboot of one of my first Fanfic's that I published to this website, but over time I realized that it wasn't very well-written. So about a year or two later (Which is now) I decided to re-write it. Also, I will be re-publishing the old one shortly after this one. Enjoy!
"THIS IS GONNA STING SPIDER-BRAT!" Scorpion shouted as his tail shot towards Spider-Man. Luckily, Spider-Man managed to dodge it, countering with a web to Scorpion's face, "Ugh! Get it off! GET IT OFF!"
"Don't worry! It'll dissolve in an hour!" Spider-Man replied,
"And you'll die in a second!" Electro said from behind. Spider-Man's Spidey-sense went off, and he jumped out of the way, narrowly avoiding a bolt of electricity. Spider-Man turned and fired another web at Electro, but it did nothing, as he was covered in a shield of electricity, "Are you even trying!?"
"Actually, yes." Suddenly, a robotic arm broke through the ceiling, grabbing Spider-Man, "Thanks a lot Spidey-Sense!" then, Spider-Man was yanked upwards and grabbed by another arm,
"Hello, Spider-Man..."
"Doc Ock, just as I thought." Doc Ock launched Peter, sending him flying through multiple support beams. Spider-Man regained consciousness, Shooting a web that attached to a support beam, allowing him to stop. But this was short lived, as a giant hand burst through the ground beneath him and grabbed him, dragging him downward. Spider-Man was then slammed on the ground by the Rhino,
"Rhino?"
"URGH! Stop calling me that!" Rhino kicked Spider-Man, sending him rocketing backwards. Once he came to a stop, he managed to get up. But out of nowhere, green gas spread around him, and a familiar face appeared in front of him,
"Mysterio!"
"Indeed... now face your ultimate doom!" Mysterio thrust his arm forward, a giant cloud of darkness rocketing towards Spider-Man. Spider-Man dodged it and shot a web towards Mysterio, but it had little effect. Mysterio teleported in front of Spider-Man and punched him in the face. Spider-Man stumbled backwards, barely grasping reality. Spider-Man threw a barrage of punches at Mysterio, before kicking him back and shooting multiple webs, covering Mysterio in a cocoon of webs,
"Now that things are a little chill, I have to ask: isn't there supposed to be a sixth member?" just as he said that, he was picked up and thrown into the wall. Spider-Man looked up and saw the missing villain, Vulture,
"Vulture? Aren't you a little too old for this?"
"You said that last time you hooligan!"
"Ha! He said the word!"
"SHUT UP!" Vulture rocketed towards Spider-Man, grabbing him as they both crashed through the wall, Vulture flying upwards. Spider-Man kicked Vulture in an attempt to free himself, "OW! Hey, stop that!"
"How about no?" Spider-Man kicked again, managing to free himself, though still pretty high up, "Alright, how should I do this?!" Spider-Man shot a web from each hand, though their was nothing for them to attach to, "Great!" Suddenly, an odd portal-looking thing appeared beneath, "What the?!" but there was no time to think, as Spider-Man was consumed by the portal in no time...
