Icey, Mary, and Troye. They were triplets, and each was strangely different. Icey wore black eyeliner, and black leather cuffs, and hid behind dark clothes. Mary liked pretty skirts, and was ridiculously caring and concerned. She wanted to be a doctor when she grew up, so she could help people.
And Troye had perpetually messy hair, bundled back into a ponytail. She had a British accent from moving to London for three years to go to school there. Now, she forced it out her voice when around people.
Qais, Oakley, Lachlan, and Kaan were the boys in the family. Lachlan meant 'land of the lakes', and was a Scottish name. Kaan ment 'ruler' and was Turkish. He was bossy and coy, and often had several girls fall for him at once. Oakley was an English name, and meant 'from the oak' or 'oak meadow'. It was kind of ironic, really, because of his love for nature.
And Qais was just kind of random; he suspected that it was made up, though his parents wouldn't confirm it. He was eccentric and brilliant, those two things contributing factors in his loneliness.
So yes, they were a pretty big family. Seven kids are a lot of work, but the parents didn't have to take care of them. Occupying jobs in the government, they were too busy for the children, and the nanny, Bertha Delmar, was kind (although quite talkative) and motherly.
She was a short, round woman, and was the mother figure in all of their lives. She was encouraging and accepting of them, too. Oakley was gay, Kaan was straight, and Lachlan was bi. Mary and Troye were straight, and Icey was gay.
Bertha didn't care. What she did care about was that they were happy and healthy, however, Priscilla and Horace Navarre were extremely homophobic, and didn't care for their children unless they were causing a scandal. Then, they would be punished.
So they lived in quiet, comfortable, not-quite-bliss. And then they moved to Beacon Hills, parents refusing to answer questions. They managed to bring Gordon the cat, too.
They made for an imposing sight when they arrived at school.
A/N: I'd like to do one chapter for each, so there should be eight or nine chapters, if I manage to finish it. Also, I know that these are not exactly drabbles, but I was struggling for a title. I might rename it, I guess. Oh, and this is unbeta-ed, so I apologize for any mistakes. Let me know what you think, reviews and constructive criticism are welcome, flames are not.
