ALL OF MY DRAFTS GOT DELETED AND I GOT A NEW COMPUTER! SO SORRY I HAVENT BEEN ON HERE IN FOREVER.
Bokuto and Akaashi have been in a relationship for about six months. It wasn't much of a surprise when they got together because the two had always been close friends. Even though they held hands and talked all through out practice, the team was still shocked to see a lovey dovey protective side of Bokuto and a sweet and passive side of Akaashi.
It had been like any other day at practice. The team was split and a practice match was going on. Bokuto and Akaashi were on the same team, as always, with one other person against four others.
Bokuto observed as a first year served messily to his side of the court. With a loud smack, it hit the floor. Floor? No. It was far to pretty to be the floor. Bokuto snapped his head around, so quick it could have given him whip lash.
"Keiji!" Bokuto said as he knelt to the floor and grabbed Akaashi's wrist.
"I-I'm so sorry Akaashi" called someone from the other side of the net.
The team was awe struck after hearing Bokuto use Akaashi's first name. It just didn't seem like Bokuto.
After a brief moment of shock, the coach called for break and left Bokuto and Akaashi on the court.
"Hey let me see" Bokuto whispered soothingly trying to pulling away the hand covering his boyfriends face. They're faces were inches apart and all the team could do was watch in amazement. Since when did Bokuto whisper.
Slowly Bokuto pull away the hand and looked at Akaashi's face. His eyes widened as a singe tear fell down Akaashi's face.
In an instant Bokuto had Akaashi up with his hand covering Akaashi's eyes. He pulled them to the side of the court.
"Coach I got this, just split the teams up more" Bokuto said. As Captain he controlled the practice. Akaashi leaned against the wall and wiped his eyes.
"Are you okay?" Bokuto asked inspecting his face for any cuts or bruised.
"I'm fine, but it hurts." Akaashi said shakily, wiping away a stray tear.
"Yeah he's got hella good power, but terrible aim." Bokuto said wiping away the tear. He was worried. Akaashi always acted tough.
Their coach brought an ice pack for Akaashi and apologized to him as well. Bokuto took it and held it gently on Akaashi's face. He leaned against the wall and wrapped his other arm around Akaashi.
Akaashi leaned into Bokuto. "They're your Kouhai, maybe you should teach them how to serve correctly."
"Akaashi!" Bokuto yelled but stopped when he saw a small smile on his lovers face.
He removed the ice pack and tilted Akaashi's chin up.
"Bokuto, don't you dare. They're staring and you know it." Akaashi warned as he saw Bokuto lean in.
Bokuto wasn't even an inch away and Akaashi could feel his breath against his lips.
"So what, let me show them what's rightfully mine." Bokuto said with a smirk on his face.
"Your so full of yourself" Akaashi said blushing and looking away. At this point the whole team was watching out of the corner of their eye, even while the game was going on.
"But you love it" Bokuto said leaning in even closer if that's possible.
"Ha only a tiny bit" Akaashi said tauntingly as he turned to Bokuto. At this point their noses were touching.
Bokuto leaned in, closing the gap between them, and humming lightly in contentment.
The court went speechless.
Bokuto turned to see why it had gone silent. Akaashi's face when red. Bokuto caught on and noticed Akaashi's blush so he stood up, one hand on hip, one pointing to Akaashi and said proudly,
"MINE"
I like this ship. I don't own Haikyuu! Otherwise Akaashi would be making out with Bokuto and Kuroo would be dating Kyo sohma... Don't judge me, just let that ship sink in to your brain.
