"Guess who got a job at a money tree growing facility?" said a voice I knew all to well. Of course, I hadn't heard Trish. I had been writing in my songbook.
"Hello? Ally? You in there?" she waved her hand in front of my face. I. . . still didn't notice. "You know, I ate a chameleon the other day. It was delicious," she continued, and I looked up.
"Aha! I knew you'd fall for the weird food trick!" she exclaimed. I laughed, looked back down, and started writing again. Trish shook her head exasperatedly and started to look over my shoulder to see what I was writing. I immediately snapped the leather bound journal shut and and put it under my arm.
"I'm trying to write Austin's song, and you KNOW that you're not allowed to hear or see or read it until its finished, I scolded her, and she sighed. "I know, I know, but you've been working on it for forever! Why can't I take just a peek?"
I raised my eyebrow at her and she threw her hands up in surrender. Just then, Austin walked in as well. "Hey guys! What are you two up to?" he asked.
Before I could answer, Trish said "Austin make Ally show me the new song!" Trish exclaimed. "New song?" he frowned. "Jimmy said I don't need a new song for awhile since I just went on tour."
Trish turned to me. "YOU HAVEN'T TOLD HIM YET?!" she shouted, then turned to Austin and said "Your next performance is for two music critics who could send you on another tour, but not just around America, around the ENTIRE WORLD if they like what they see!"
Austin's face lit up. "Th-That's amazing! Ally we have to get started on that song right away!" and with that he ran up the stairs to the practice room. I started reaching for my hair in frustration but resisted. "Trish, you forgot something. Not only are the critics the most difficult to please, if they don't like what they see, they could ruin Austin's entire career!"
Trish smiled and laughed nervously. "Ha Ha. . . Yeah, maybe I should have thought of that. . ."
I shook my head and tiredly took on the task of walking upstairs, entering the practice room, and breaking the bad part to an overly excited Austin.
Hi guys, I know its been forever since I've written anything, but I only really write when I get inspired, and luckily I just got this idea while watching, you guessed it, Austin and Ally. I know this chapter is really short but I'm not sure if you guys are going to like it so I want to see your reactions before I continue the plot. Make sure to review and follow me, and I really hope you enjoy this new story! Bye!
