He sat there in the darkness of the world.
Nothing mattered.
Nothing was important.
His loneliness was drowning him.
He tried to find the one he loved. He tried so hard, but every time he failed.
Was life meaningless?
Ciel stared at his reflection through a shard of a mirror, long since broken. What he saw was fake, completely fake. No matter how much he wished it was real, it wasn't.
There, behind him, in the mirror stood the one he loved. The blonde's arm's wrapped around his neck with that playful smirk on as always. His blue eyes filled with mischief.
Alois Trancy was right there in the mirror, yet no where to be found outside it.
The boy stared into the mirror for hours, days. Whenever he could he would look into it. He knew that the mirror only showed what the person looking into it desired, but what Ciel Desired was no where to be found.
Ciel gripped the mirror tightly and watched as Alois nuzzled him. Tears began to flow down his cheeks and he threw the wretched mirror, hearing it clank against the ground. Ciel sat on the floor and pulled his knees up to his chest, hugging them tightly and crying. His face was buried into his legs so if Sebastian came in, he wouldn't see Ciel crying.
The boy sobbed for what seemed forever. He felt broken. Terribly broken to the point where only one thing could repair him. That didn't matter, though. The one thing that he needed and wanted so badly wasn't there to help him.
He wanted to be held again, to listen to the slow beat of his heart, to feel the loving touch of his hand. He missed it so much.
Ciel had never thought his feelings were this strong, until he couldn't find Alois. He didn't know that something so wonderful was gone.
He felt lost without him. He wouldn't admit it to anyone else, but they already knew.
Ciel looked up slowly breathing heavily from the crying.
Alone.
He was alone again.
He would be forever alone. No one understood… the pain. He couldn't even explain it.
"If Only you knew how much it hurts when you're gone…" He whispered, and closed his eyes again.
