Chapter 1"Huh?" Percy yawned as he woke up. "Who's shaking my bed?" he moaned. Finally, he came to his senses and realized nobody was shaking his bed. "Earthquake!" Percy yelled as the Minotaur horn fell off the wall. He quickly jumped off of the top bunk and dived below the bottom bunk
Annabeth had just woken up and was designing the new palace for Olympus by using Daedalus's laptop to design and compare ideas with Daedalus when the whole cabin started to shake. Scrolls started to fall from the shelf that they were neatly stacked in "Everybody up and under their bunks" she screamed and grabbed Daedalus's laptop and jumped under her bunk like the rest of the Athena cabin.
Chiron was listening to All-Time Greatest Hits of Dean Martin when suddenly the ground started to shake. "Oh no." Chiron said as he watched trees fall and a huge fault open up by the climbing wall. The Zeus cabin collapsed to the ground. "Were going to have to fix that." He said and with that he turned his CD player off and went to call a camp meeting.
Nico looked out side his cabin window. Most of the camp was destroyed, Cabins crushed by fallen trees, and the Mess hall was cracked all over. The Hermes table and the Ares table were completely destroyed and they lay in a pile of rubble. "Oh man what happened?" Nico said.
Later…
"I have called this meeting of the cabins today for a very important reason," Chiron's voice boomed around the broken amphitheatre "This morning we suffered from an earthquake." Chiron said. "We had an earthquake?" A voice piped up. It was Nico you see he had just done a great deal of shadow jumping last night and he was extremely tired still. "Yes we did," replied Chiron. "Anyway lets see, where was I? Oh yes. This morning we suffered from an earthquake and the destruction was great. Just look around you for proof." Heads turned and people shifted around. "We never suffer from earthquakes only somebody, or something, with great power could do this," Chiron said. "I suspect one deity in particular. Not a God, nor a Titan, but something even older. One of the deities that came before even the Titans." All the voices in the amphitheatre went silent. " I suspect none other than…………………………Gaia, the primordial deity who is the earth itself and has the power to control it." Chiron said.
