Betty softly sighed as she saw what kept her wife's attention from her. She didn't blame Veronica one bit; the finding of a lost piece of history was pretty special.

"Ronnie?" Betty tilted her head as she eyed her wife bent over the table. "Honey."

Veronica just studied the scroll that she had recently found in her grandparents old home. She was in awe of the anicent piece of work.

Betty smiled softly as she walked over to see what held her wife's attention. She slipped into the chair close to her wife, and she rested her head on Veronica's shoulder. "So you are at it again hmmm ..."

"Hey B." Veronica spoke without taking her eyes off the precious piece of history. She felt warmth with her young wife so close against her's. "I'll be done in a bit. I promise." Her eyes drifted towards the next line on the scroll.

"No rush baby." Betty replied. She was just happy to be snuggled against her wife. Her eyes drifted over the scroll herself. She could tell why Veronica was so lost in this forgotton piece of human history.
