Harry woke up to the last day of summer. He was so happy that he only had to spend one week at the Dursley's. Mr. and Mrs. Weasley had invited him to stay over the summer and of course the Dursley's agreed. They took any invitation that would keep Harry far away from them. Hermione was also invited, so the three of them spent the rest of the summer together. Harry got out of bed and got dressed quickly. Ron was already up and waiting for Harry.

"Mum's says to hurry. We're already late. The train is going to leave in two hours," Ron said. Harry got his truck and they both went downstairs. Everyone was waiting. They hurriedly set off to King's Cross and made it there in a half hour. They each took a trolley and went through the barrier between platforms nine and ten. One by one Mrs. Weasley gave all of them hugs and last minutes advise and lectures while they all mounted the Hogwarts express. After there last good-bye's, Harry, Ron, and Hermione searched for a compartment that wasn't full. They reached the last compartment and opened the door. A single girl was in the compartment. She has dark brown hair and eyes and seemed to be the same age as Harry, Ron, and Hermione. Harry couldn't help but look at her. Hermione looked at Harry and nudged him. Harry quickly pretended that he had something in his eye.

After rubbing his eyes, Harry asked, "Is it all right if we sit here?"

The girl looked toward them with a warm smile, "Of course." The girl watched Harry, Ron, and Hermione put there stuff away and sit down, "My name is Veera, Veera Malli. I'm a sixth year."

"My name is Harry, Harry Potter. And this is Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley. We're also sixth years. I don't think I've seen you before. What house are you in?"

"Im new here. Im in Gryffindor. You see, I'm half witch and half fairy. I took fairy schooling first and learned the first five years of what you guys learned at Hogwarts during the summers and weekends."

"Veera, I think I read about someone with the name Veera," said Hermione.

"I think you were reading about someone else, but I have heard all of your names before," Veera said, "Fairies love stories of magical folk who are very intelligent. I think there quite a bore, but one of the stories was about you. And Harry Potter, who hasn't heard of you. And Ron Weasley, my father knows your father. They used to be school mates."

"There are stories of me," Hermione asked excitedly.

"Just one. They say that you may be the most the youngest most intelligent witch yet," Veera said happily, "Well I think we're almost there. We should probably get changed into our robes."

They changed into their robes and in a matter of time they reached Hogwarts. They all got off the train and went into one of the carried.

"Harry, do you mind if you could help me around to find my classes and everything," Veera asked.

"Urr . . . Sure," said Harry nervously.

Harry was so excited that they were finally back to another school year and he couldn't believe that a girl like Veera asked him for help. Harry looked at her into her dark brown eyes. He felt as if he could look at her forever. Suddenly his scar throbbed with pain.
