True Strength
Summary: Is Takeru-tono really strong? That Ryunosuke wants to know so badly. From Samurai Sentai Shinkenger. Set around after the 5th episode.

A sigh escapes from Ryunosuke's mouth as his mind is set to another dimension. Chiaki happens to be looking for the certain Pink retainer until he saw her along with the Yellow retainer who are staring at the Kabuki actor who is staring in space.
"What is that guy doing?" Chiaki questioned Mako.
Mako glances at the green vassal then shrugs her shoulders. "He's been like that since yesterday." She explains.
The rebel lad snorts. "Maa… at least he won't be noisy today. That's even good." He glee.
The Pink retainer nods her head secretly as she heads out of the room with Chiaki walking behind her. Except for Kotoha who is left behind looking at the blue retainer curiously minutes later she follows them.

"HAAAAH!"
Takeru is training the usual at the training ground without any of his retainers to train with him not even kurokos or Kusakabe to look after him. Unknown to the young Lord, Ryunosuke secretly hiding behind one of the sliding doors while watching his Lord's training.
"Should I ask him or not?" the young retainer pondered himself nervously.
Ryuunosuke continues to ponder until he decides not to just as he plans to leave before the young Shiba Lord finds him it's too late. "What are you doing, Ryunosuke?" the current Lord's voice boom behind him.
The young vassal gasped as he saw his lord standing few meters away from him. "If you have something to ask then say it." Takeru irritatedly demanded.
Reluctant to say to his Lord yet the young Shiba Lord has clearly made his statement very serious as he won't leave his spot until the Kabuki actor speaks up before he could have another chance to talk to him. Here goes nothing. Ryunosuke thought. "Were you this always strong?"
A dead silence occurs between the Lord and the blue retainer. He is starting to feel uneasy at this silence as he sees the young Shiba Lord remains emotionless. Knowing that Ryunosuke asked something pathetic he is about to change the topic until his Lord speaks out. "Not really." Takeru simply replied.
The young vassal stare at him in shock as the young lord continues to talk. "I was not born this strong before and so are you and the rest. Everyone start from something to become strong."
"So what was your source of strength, Tono?" Ryunosuke hastily asked him.
There is another silence occurs between them as the Kabuki actor nervously panics in his mind. Before he could take it back, the young Lord continues to answer. "Everyone has their own strength so I'm sure you have yours too." Takeru added.
"Tono." The Blue retainer awed at him
The young Lord gave the vassal the extra bokken he was carrying. Confuse to his Lord's action, Ryunosuke stares at him. "I need someone to spar so get yourself change now." He ordered him.
Ryunosuke did not think first as he heads back inside the Shiba mansion to change his clothes. The young lord could secretly smile as he watches the Kabuki actor. "We still have long ways to become strong. Right now our main objective is to protect those people from Gedoushou, Ryunosuke." he thought.
