He sits behind her in class.
She doesn't notice him.
He purposely drops his pencil.
She doesn't turn around.
He pokes her with his pens.
She swats away his hand,
Why?
She does notice him but when he does these thinks, she blushes furiously.
The solution?
Ripping a page from his notebook, Zuko scribbled down a math problem. He folded it and wrote Mai on the front. He threw it in front of her.
Mai noticed the message and unfolded it, blushing as she opened it. Inside was a math problem.

Mai began solving the problem. U must be the variable! She began dividing the numbers. Indeed, Zuko was write. She turned around to him and placed the 'math' problem on his desk.
Zuko opened it. He chuckled to himself and fixed the 1 so it looked like a i. He threw it back at Mai with a little note on the top.
Mai unfolded the message again to see the same problem. Only, she just found out what it really meant, thanks to Zuko's accompanying message. She scribbled furiously and threw the note behind her.
Zuko unfolded the note to see his message.

A/N-Zuko wrote I 3 U. So at first Mai thought it was a math problem. Then, Zuko wrote Want to Date under it and Mai figured it out.
Maiko fluff is good-even for a Zutarian/Maiko person like myself.
