"Eomer…"
Eomer looked tentatively at Legolas's outstretched hand. Normally he would have taken it without hesitance.
"I won't let you fall. I promise."
Unfortunately for him, he couldn't say no to Legolas for long and moments later, he was high in the tree, secured in his lover's strong arms.
"See, you've climbed a tree. Now let us see what we can do about your other fear."
Feeling considerably more confident, Eomer turned slightly out of Legolas's embrace and looked at him questioningly.
Legolas took a deep breath. "My father's going to be here in two days."
Eomer lost his balance.
