Bella waited in the Gryffindor common room, for Sirius, he had told her at breakfast that day to wait here for him, so that he could take her on their valentine's day date. Yet, Bella thought, that there was no way they could go on for a date with out the headmasters permission. Short of the Room of requirement, Bella had no idea what Sirius had planned.

Bella sighed and sat back into the couch, she had been so tired lately, she figured it was her insomnia acting up. Bella's thoughts were interrupted when she felt weight dip into the couch.

She opened her eyes to see Sirius looking at her worriedly, "Babe if you're too tired, we can do this later."

Bella smiled at him and shook her head. "No Hun, I'm fine. I want to see what you have planned." Bella said excitedly. Sirius laughed and put his arm around her shoulder and began leading her up to the Astronomy tower.

Bella looked around confused as she saw nothing out of the ordinary. "Sirius?" She muttered confused, looking up at his grinning face.

"Relax Bells, we're just going from here to our date." He said leading her to the ledge, where they kissed. "Accio Broom!" Sirius said holding his hand out. The broom flew from wherever it was.

Bella looked at it nervously, and Sirius chuckled, "Your okay Bells. I'll be right here." He helped her on it, and then got on behind her.

"Now ease up on the grip." He whispered the instructions in Bella's ear. When they were in the air, Sirius wrapped his arms around her and put his hands over Bella's steering the broom. Bella shrieked as Sirius drove down on the broom, sending it flying to the ground. When Sirius pulled up, stopping it, about three feet above the ground. Bella hopped off the broom and slapped Sirius on his arm.

"You suck!" She whined, Sirius laughed.

"Aw I'm sorry, Bells." He said hopping off the broom and shrinking it.

"Maybe this will make it up to you." He said turning her so she could see her surprise.

Bella gasped. "Sirius.." She breathed taking in the blanket spread out under the tree, with a picnic basket against the tree trunk.

"Shall we?" He said holding his hand out, Bella giggled and took his arm. He led her over to blanket and quickly got the food out. They sat down and started eating, talking about meaningless things, after a while, Sirius got two boxes out, and handed them to Bella.

"Happy St. Valentines day." He muttered to her, Bella smiled at him, and handed him her gift.

"Happy St. Valentines day." She said opening her gift. Bella gasped and put her hand to her mouth, there sitting in the frame, was a hand drawn picture of a young girl curled up on a couch reading in the firelight.

Bella gasped again, looking at the girl more closely, It was her! Bella's head snapped up to Sirius's in disbelief.

"Merlin, Sirius! Did you draw this?" Sirius scratched the back of his head nervously,

"Yeah I did." He muttered quietly. Bella leaned over and kissed him quickly, before she opened her next gift. She gasped again, there in the small velvet box, was a bar of glistening star earrings.

Bella calmly put the presents down and then hugged Sirius tightly. "I love them." She said leaning up and kissing him.

She pulled away, "Okay time for you're present!" She chirped excitedly. Sirius laughed and opened the box, it was a photograph of them. They were sitting in the common room, Bella was in between Sirius's legs, leaning against his chest.

She was laughing at something off screen, and Sirius was grinning down at her. He would kiss her hair every so often, and Bella would grin up at him. Sirius tore his eyes away from the photograph, and kissed her firmly. "I love it." He hugged her tightly. Soon after they got back on the broom, Bella clutching their gifts protectively, and returned to the common room, grinning goofily.
