Park

It had been two years since he'd last seen her. Sure they talked over the phone and wrote, but it wasn't the same. After Richie had been arrested, Eleanor's mother packed up and went to Minnesota.

Park had been waiting to finish high school, and with his grades, he could get into anywhere he wanted. The only place he wanted to go was with Eleanor. He found out over the phone that she was going to the University of Minneapolis. Park didn't tell her, but he was going there too.

The day he left, his mother cried. "Please Park," she begged. "Stay here. You no leave." Park hugged his mother, stroking her hair. "I have to mom. I just have to." it was a very emotional day, to say the least.

He listened to the mixtape she sent him. It was really good. He stopped for beef jerky and coke along the way. A classic combination. When he reached Minnesota, he felt a strange sensation arise within him. Last time he felt it was when he told her he loved her.

He got to St. Paul, and when he reached her house he stopped the Impala. He drummed his hands nervously against the steering wheel. He pulled the photo out of his wallet. It had been so long ago. Would it still be the same? He didn't care. He needed his.

He walked up to her front door and rang the bell. Eleanor answered it. God, she was fucking beautiful. Their lips collided. Nothing had changed. He still loved her. When they broke apart, a tear rolled down Eleanor's cheek. "Don't ever leave again," she whispered. Her hands still tightly wrapped around his neck. "I'm not leaving you until I die Eleanor." He said. "I love you too much." Eleanor giggled at this and smiled. "I love you-you fucking bastard."

Park drove his brand new Honda Civic down the long road leading up to their house. He gripped the steering wheel as a Guns'n Roses song came onto the radio. He knew she didn't like them. That's why he listened to them. He got out of the car and walked up to their house. He opened the front door and entered the mudroom. Their golden lab, Coconut, started barking and ran to greet him. Kaley followed.

" Daddy! Daddy! " she yelled as he picked her up. " Guess What? Mommy said I could help her make cookies! "

Park laughed, as this was the sort of thing his daughter got excited about. Kaley just smiled her huge smile and started singing some new song she'd heard. When Park looked at Kaley, he could see just how much she looked like her mother. She had her mother's red curly hair, her mother's nose and lips. Everything about her looked like Eleanor. Except for her eyes. Those looked like his.

Park carried Kaley into the living room, Coconut trailing behind them. Eleanor was seated at the table writing in one of her notebooks. Park put Kaley down, walking over to Eleanor. When she saw him her brown eyes lit up.

" Hey is it cool if we get takeout for dinner? I don't feel like cooking." Eleanor said while patting her pregnant belly. Park smiled as he kissed her. "Hey, as long as I don't have to cook I'm cool."

Eleanor

She loved every minute of her life now. After she had moved in with Park, everything fell into place. She loved her spacious house. She loved her career. She loved her daughter. But she had all that because of him.

When she looked at their wedding photos, it seemed like a mirage. How could anything this spectacular have happened to her? It didn't matter. None of it did as long as she stayed here with him.

Park

When he got his own apartment, the first thing he did was ask her to share it with him. When she said yes he was on cloud nine.

When they got married he couldn't help but kiss her. Every fucking part of her. When they had Kaley, he knew what it was like to be in love with more than just Eleanor, When they had Millie, his life was complete. He had two wonderful children. He had Eleanor. It was fucking great.
