."Captain!" Diane called out for Meliodas.
"What is it, Diane?" Meliodas asked.
"Now that we took care of that monster... We have to find King!"
"Hm? Why? And why just King? What about Ban?" Asked the tiny bland midget-eh- I mean leader of the seven deadly sins.
"Because I have something important to tell King. And I don't really care about Ban. Plus, you already kew he was leaving. But King... He just disappeared! I don't know where he could have ran of to! And what if there are more of those... things?! What if one of them attacked King?!" Diane yelled almost panicking.
"Yes, Diane, there are definitely more of those things. But I don't think we need to worry about King." Meliodas said with that dorky smile of his.
"Huh? What do you mean?" The confused giantess asked. "I've known King for quite some time. Not the way we know him now, but I met him long before I met you or any other of the seven deadly sins. He seems to have forgotten it, but I still remember. In fact I even know his sin. I was there when he got taken to prison." The dragon's sin of wrath explained.
"Huh?! Really?! How long ago was that?!" Diane asked, not believing what she was hearing.
"That doesn't matter right now. What matters is WHY I was there. You see, when a convict gets taken away, there are obviously guards keeping an eye on him in case he or she decides to fight back. But with King, he was so powerful that it wasn't enough sending a bunch of knights. So the humans requested that I helped them out, because they feared the damage he might cause if there wasn't an exceptionally powerful knight capable of taking him down at the moment. And even I didn't go alone. I still had some low level knights assist me, though in the end he didn't try anything funny. He looked devastated. But that's beside the point." Mel said.
"Well, why are you telling me this? All of us are strong." Diane said, starting to get upset.
"Diane, what I'm trying to tell you is out of all the sins the one I trust to survive the most, is King. He may be a weakling when it comes to punching someone. But he is surprisingly durable. If Ban wasn't immortal, I would say King has the most astounding durability. Even more than mine. In fact out of all the sins, the most powerful one isn't me, Merlin, Ban, you, Gowther, or even Escanor. It's King. I dare even say, he might even have been able to defeat Hendricksen or that monster by himself. That is how much I trust in his skill. And you should too. After all, you saw how injured he was, and yet kept fighting till the very end before, right? And unlike the rest of us, he only got healed once it was all over." Meliods pointed out, giving Diane a reassuring grin.
"You-you are right captain. I should know better. But we still have to look for him!" Diane said. Meliodas suddenly turned serious.
"Indeed we do. There's something big coming. Bigger than that monster. And we will need his power to stop it." And with that he turned away, leaving a confused Diane behind.
