"Thanks Betty," Edward said, taking his outfit from my hands.
"Its Bella," I mumbled for what must have been the 10th time today. This time he actually noticed.
"I'm sorry?" he asked, sounding like he remotely cared.
"Bella!" I said impatiently, "My name is Bella, not Betty." he apologized and headed out the door with a wave. I knew he wouldn't remember tomorrow anyway. No one ever did. I looked down at my shoes and sighed. Then, demonstrating another person that thought I was invisible, Emmett , Edward's drum player bumped into me, knocking my clunky glasses on the ground. He cursed.
"Bells, I'm so sorry" he said, dropping to the ground to find my glasses. While he was down there he laughed. "Nice kicks Bella" he chuckled pointing to my high heeled knee high converse.
"Alice forced to wear them so, shut up Em," I laughed, pulling him up. He stuck his tongue out at me and shoved my glasses into my hand.
"Whatever, you know you love me!" he laughed and hugged me,
"Yeah, whatever" I giggled as he held onto me "I'm just lucky I got this job! You're the best brother ever!"
"Yep," he laughed and grabbed an apple from the table of food in Edward's dressing room, taking a giant bite. We both groaned when we head overenthusiastic giggles coming from outside the door. Edward had found the Clones. The Clones were Edwards biggest fans, and they just happened to be gorgeous, so Edward let them be "Roadies". They do nothing except follow "Eddie," as they call him, around day and night. "Lets go," Emmett groaned , walking out the door.
I stepped out next to Edward and greeted him. He nodded at me and returned to his Clones. I rolled my eyes at there usual trashy, matching outfits. They wore skintight silver polyester cocktail dresses and leopard print stilettos. Of course, Edward the masculine, loved them. "Hello girls," I said to Victoria the redhead, Jessica the brunette and Lauren the blonde. They just sneered at me and went back to their conversation, complimenting Edward's outfit.
"Actually," he started, rubbing the back of his neck, and looking at me shyly, " Bella designed the outfit, she's my new stylist." I bet I looked like I just ate a hot pepper, my face bright red, and shocked.
"Oh…" Lauren said "Well…its alright" I got annoyed, and turned the corner to go find Emmett. Then I heard a nasally voice ask "do you want to go out to dinner with us at Breaking Dawn, yah know, that fancy new bar and club on Cedar Avenue? we're leaving in a few minutes."
"Sure!" he said, and went back into his dressing room.
I took out my cell phone and dialed Alice's number
"Hello Bella!" she answered in her cheery voice
"Alice, we're going to breaking dawn. Now. Meet me there" I hung up. I knew she'd be there, with Jazz, her fiancé , in a beautiful dress and have one for me. She was very predictable.
Half an hour later, I met her outside Breaking Dawn. She was wearing a short black and white striped flowing dress, with a bright bag.
"Oh, you're going to love the dress I got you!" she said excitedly, and Jasper grimaced. I lost all hope. I probably was going to have to force myself into a skintight dress.
I was right. I wore a covers-almost-nothing dress, that barely let me move it was so tight. There were zig-zaggy lines of bright colors on it. I groaned as soon as I got it on. Id have to see Edward like this. I brushed my straightened hair until it was neat, and stepped out of the bathroom.
Alice ran over from her table and squealed. "It looks fantastic!" she was smiling so big it looked painful. I looked around the crowded bar. I saw Edward walking towards me, his jaw hanging open. Oh god….
