Unsightly?
"So Liv, who's your hot date tonight?"
"Huh?"
Elliot smirked, "You're sitting at your desk, dressed nicely, and you keep fingering your necklace nervously. Oh, and the captain said we could go home about a half hour ago. It doesn't didn't take much detective work to figure it out."
"Elliot, I hate to break it to you, but I've been wearing this outfit all day. And when are you going to stop referring to him as my hot date? I've been seeing him for over a month."
He shrugged, "maybe I'll stop when you actually tell me who this guy is." Olivia glared at him.
"It's none of your business!"
"None of my business," He repeated flatly. "Then how come Munch knows?"
Olivia blinked. "What?"
"Yeah! I asked him if he knew who you were going out with and he opened his mouth like he was about to say something, then just smirked and walked away! I don't understand it Benson!"
Deciding not to call her partner on his misconception, and not wanting to worsen their argument further, Olivia merely shook her head and allowed Elliot to storm angrily out of the precinct.
Moments later, the cause of their argument walked casually down the steps that led to the crib.
"Hey, Livvie." He greeted, " You ready to go?"
"Yeah John." She said, smiling and walking over to the middle of the room to meet him. Just as he pulled her in for a kiss, she could have sworn she heard the distant sound of footsteps, but decided she was just imagining it. She paused a moment before continuing to kiss him back.
Once their kiss had started nearing towards something that could be constituted as a make out session, they were suddenly interrupted.
"Liv, I'm sorry for yelling at you earlier, I just left my keys and - aghhh!" Elliot exclaimed, once he finally focused on the scene before him.
Munch and Olivia quickly sprung apart, not exactly sure what to say to their shell shocked colleague, who was still in the middle of expressing his disgust.
"Ew! Okay, is it possible to damage your eyesight from seeing something like that?!"
He rubbed at his eyes frantically, much to Olivia and Munch's amusement.
"I think my retinas just burst." he stated over dramatically, before wandering off to his desk and grabbing his keys. He said goodbye to them awkwardly before preceding to walk quickly back towards the door.
"Maybe you should call my opthamologist then!" Munch called out to his retreating back with an air of pseudo-helpfulness.
Olivia slapped him upside the head playfully.
"Ow!"
