"Tamtam can you not do that?" Kenzi yelled at the drunk Valkyrie.
"But it's so fun!" Tamsin screamed as she danced around circling Kenzi while occasionally playing with her hair.
It was a lonely night for both of them since Hale and Bo were out there fighting crimes with of course Dyson, Kenzi was left alone with the young Valkyrie and they decided to get drunk. Kenzi was pretty shocked at first to see how big of a drinker this 3 weeks old Valkyrie was, but then again, that's how Tamsin used to be in her past life.
"Can you please calm down?" Kenzi once again yelled.
"But I'm so so so bored!" Tamsin nagged.
"Let's do something else, something a little less, I don't know, annoying? Lets just sit down and talk" suggested Kenzi
"Ok- so are you and Hale going to marry each other someday? Or you can't because he's fae and you're just a human?" Tamsin babbled right after she sat down. Kenzi however was surprised and a bit mad actually that Tamsin just called her a 'just human'. She sighed, still trying to figure out whether she wanted to explain it all to Tamsin or is it just going to be a waste of her time.
"Is it a Valkyrie thing to ask so many stupid questions?" Kenzi lost her temper
"No. It's a child thing, I'm only a few weeks old remember?" explained Tamsin while standing up. She took another bottle of liquor, opened it, and started to drink half of it in one go.
"woah, you need to calm down" warned Kenzi as she rushed to young Tamsin and took the liquor away.
"so I can't do this, and I can't do that, what's the point of life?" Tamsin sighed as she walked away and threw her body to Bo's bed.
"I thought Valkyries collect souls? Or at least that's what I read on fairytales" cheered Kenzi so that Tamsin wouldn't feel so useless.
"Yes, but not now. I mean, I don't know, does this earth even still have any brave pure-hearted warriors?" asked Tamsin
"Yes? Aren't we all?" answered Kenzi
"Well, do you want your soul to be delivered?" again Tamsin asked
"n-no? I mean not now, no." Kenzi stuttered. Tamsin only raised her brows and shrugged.
It was a strange night for Kenzi, for both of them actually. It was just Kenzi couldn't figured out what was Tamsin actually thinking this whole time. Hell, nobody knew what Tamsin was actually thinking even in her past life. To them, Tamsin was just one of their dark friend who might be a traitor and was snarky as hell, but there were more to Tamsin that no one knows yet, or nobody cared enough to realized. Kenzi however, had spent some times with the Valkyrie lately. She took care of her since she was little, although it only took her 3 weeks to grow up, but still, the connection was there, and Kenzi felt obligated to know what was going on with her. How she was like way back then, back when she was first created, because Kenzi realized that behind those bitchy attitudes, was a fragile scared little girl, something must have happened before. Something that made her the way she was.
"Tamtam" called Kenzi calm and gentle. Tamsin turned her head to Kenzi.
"Have you ever feel so alone sometimes that it hurts?" asked Kenzi after she slept beside the young Valkyrie.
"All the time" she answered, short and clear. Kenzi stared into those beautiful blue eyes, and could imagine how lonely she must have been. Maybe less now, but it broke her heart to think back before Tamsin was reborn, when she was so mean and no one trusted her, no one wanted her, not the light not even the dark.
Kenzi took Tamsin's hand and held it real tight and said,
"Well don't. Because you have me, you have Bo, and you have Dyson. You have all of us. We believe in you and you can count on us"
Tamsin smiled and hugged her "new mommy"
