I do not own harry potter, etc.
Felix Wotter lay in her bed, reading a book. Her bright green eyes flickered across the pages as she read. A strand of brown hair fell across her face and she flicked it away with her hand, and read on. She flopped over on her stomach, folded her arms under her chest, and turned another page. All was quiet and calm, suddenly, a soft meow cut the air. A white paw covered the words she was reading and she looked up, a smile on her face.
"Hello, Jinxy boy! What 'cha doing?" She put her hand out and the orange tabby rubbed against it, purring loudly. The cats blue eyes peered curiously at the book, as if asking what it was.
Apparently, that was what Felix thought he had meant. "Oh, Jinx, that's just Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix! It's a great book," she commented, "I'm almost done with it, y'know, good thing the library has the rest of the books!" She smiled, ruffling the fur on Jinx's head. She sighed softly, "If only what was in these books were real, and I was a wizard!" she laughed, "I wish!"
Lying on her back she stared at the ceiling, which was covered in Harry Potter posters. A stuffed Crookshanks, Buckbeak, Hedwig and Scabbers adorned her blue bean-bag chair. A round green, black and blue rug, had been placed on the wood floor next to her bed. Her green painted walls were covered in more posters(Harry Potter and the "gang" stared down from some, along with some cats and band posters), drawings and family pictures. A cherry-wood desk sat next to her bed, a bright green desk lamp, a picture of Jinx, some school supplies(including a some pencil with Harry Potter designs all over them) in a cup, a green laptop(decorated haphazardly with stickers of cats and, you guessed it, Harry Potter) a dusty black alarm clock and some Harry Potter(who would've thought?) action figures sat on it. The bed itself was covered by a black sheet with yellow, green and blue circles on it, bright yellow pillows, and a pillow with the Hogwarts crest on it. A black bookshelf was lined with so many books it would probably fall if another book was placed upon it.
A gray tabby cat sat by the side of the bed and meowed loudly, awakening Felix, who had begun to fall asleep in the warm sunlight that had been admitting from the window.
"Wh-what?" Felix said with a shaking her head and sitting up.
"Mre-ow!" meowed the gray tabby again.
"Oh, Summit, hey bub!" she said as she looked down, spotting the tabby tom.
"Me-ow!" Summit meowed again.
Checking the time on the alarm clock, which read 12:00, she smiled, "Twelve 'o clock! Lunch time!" She jumped off the bed, stretched, and started down the stairs, her two cats following her, tails high.
As she entered the kitchen the phone rang. She walked over to it to check the number, "Argh, Corwin!" She said and walked away from the phone. Corwin had had a crush on her since third grade. Someone had given him her phone number and she had gotten calls from him about everyday. She saw her mom had put the mail out before going to her morning yoga class.
Leafing through it she saw something that seemed…familiar.
