Italian suprises
Summary: its two years before season 1 navs on hammersly and ET'S about to be transferred on from Sydney but first he takes a family holiday to italy where the usual player actually starts to grow up, he meets the woman of his dreams who is also on hammersly, who is she?
Ch.1
Josh holiday was getting ready for his family holiday, even though he was 21 now he still had to go to italy with his parents, sisters, brother in law, and grandparents he thought it was just embarrising he imagined what his old crew would think of this, he was in the navy and had just been transferred from Sydney to cairns to become part of the hammersly crew. Sure he missed his old crew but he got to join one of the best patrol boats in the RAN and it was closer to his family plud he got a two month holiday before he was due to start working again so he wasn't complaining… that much. He finished packing then placed the big suitcase near the door ready for tomorrow.
The next day josh was loading his suitcase into the taxi before saying bye to his niece, his sister had decided that she should stay there with their dad's family for this holiday and let it be a adult only one. . They decided to go straight to sleep when they got to italy so they could get used to the time difference. So the morning after they arrived they got up and went to the beach. John claires husband wanted to go surfing and josh wanted to try but none of them could speak Italian and the man at the rent-a-surfboard stall couldn't speak English, they were about to walk away when somebody tapped josh on the shoulder
"you want me to translate for you?" she asked laughing at their attempt
"haha erm, would you mind, were not doing a very good job" said john seeing her looks had josh speechless.
"yeah I can see" she said, she looked behind them to see what she presumed to be the rest of their family laughing at them too.
"hi im josh"
" nikki" the woman shook her head all of a sudden speechless too, she didn't see josh before. "how many surfboards do you want?"
"just 2"
"okay" she said before turning to marco, the person selling them, she had known him since she was born since she had a house round here. "ciao marco posso ottenere due tavole da surf per questi buffoni e poi quattro per me per favore" (hi marco can i get two surfboards for these buffoons and then four for me please)
"si si certo niccoletta"(yes yes of course 'nicole') he said handing over the boards and taking the money "pensi che dovremmo dire loro vorrei di capire se solo parlavano inglese" (do you think we should tell them that i would of understood if they just spoke english)
"non solo far loro pensano di essere degli idioti" (no just let them think they're idiots) "ciao, ci vediamo quando torno questi"(ill see you when i return these)
turning back to josh and john "here"
"thankyou, hey how did you's two know eachothers name"
"josh" claire said, giving him the devil look
"just because ive got a australian accent doesnt mean i cant have a house here aswell as live there. Plus im italian and he knows my avi i mean grandad" she heard one of her brothers yelling at her to hurry up and quickly said bye to them before running back down to te see front stripping down to her bikini and jumping into the waves with three of her brothers. Knowing full well that josh was still staring after her.
