Clouding your Mind
Just a Raven/Robin one-shot… I'll have to admit, I'm actually a Robin/Starfire shipper, but then the idea popped in my head so, why not publish it?
I wished, I don't own Teen Titans!
.~*~.
One month after Raven's birthday. One month without a villain attacking Jump City. The titans were in the ops room. 3 p.m. sharp. Starfire was feeding and petting Silkie, Robin was listening to music, Raven had her head buried in her book, Cyborg and Beast Boy were discussing loudly over the kitchen counter about what was better…:
-Tofu!
-Meat!
-Tofu!
-Meat!
-To-
-QUIET! ENOUGH! YOU'VE BEEN DISCUSSING THIS FOR OVER A WEEK!
Everyone stared at Raven, who was standing up, her book on the floor. She was four-eyed and gained multiple black tentacles that made her taller and the bottom of her cloak flow around her.
Silence invaded the tower. Even Robin's stereo seemed to turn itself off. Soon she realized what just happened and blinked away the demon she became, clearly embarrassed and ashamed of what just happened.
-Um, sorry for that. Continue what you were doing before.
The empath said in her usual low monotone voice, digging her head once more in her book, as if it could make her invisible. Cyborg and Beast Boy walked slowly to the TV, picked up their video game controls, and started playing. Starfire put Silkie on the couch and floated to the door, heading to the "glorious mall of shopping". Everyone had moved, yet quietly. Robin, hesitating, went towards Raven and sat beside her.
-Raven, wh- what just happened? Are you alright?
-I don't want to talk about this here.
She discretely pointed to the two video game maniacs.
-So let's go to the rooftop.
…
-Will you tell me what's bothering you? You're worrying me Raven!
-I haven't been meditating since my birthday. And today I lost control, and burst it all out. She said, her eyes full of regret.
-And why can't you meditate anymore?
The half-demon flushed red furiously. She knew exactly why she couldn't meditate. It was troubling her so much, and the reason… She thought about it, and found it ridiculous.
-Raven? She snapped back to reality.
-Sorry. I was just… *Sigh* Her insecurity got the better of her, and tears blinded her. She tried blinking them in, when actually she blinked them out, and Robin noticed it.
-We'll figure out something, you don't need to cry. It will be O.k.
Robin hugged Raven as she sobbed, but soon stopped crying, in order to tell him what was going on.
-I can't meditate because you're in my mind often, and I think it's wrong to feel this way about you, and I can't control yet this emotion, because I was, and still am, denying it. I'm so confused, and I don't know why. Guess it's not-
Robin shut her up with a gentle but long kiss. He pulled away, couldn't help but smile.
-So I'm the one who's clouding up your mind?
-Stop flattering yourself, Boy Wonder. Raven pulled him closer and smacked her lips on his, grabbing locks of his spiked-ebony hair. Robin placed his hands down her waist, and if possible pulled her even more closer, crushing her into his chest, and they stayed together until sunset on the rooftop.
