Author's notes:

I've played Final Fantasy VII. I have watched Advent Children as well. And of course, I have also played Fire Emblem- that's why I am here. I have started to notice some parallels between FFVII and FEVII not long ago- The Lifestream and Quintessence, both as a life bearing entity misused by some due to their own greed.

The question is, if there was a FFVII: Advent Children, why was there no FEVII: Advent Children? Was it because FEVII had already had the sequel Fuuin no Tsurugi? Or was it because Intelligence System could not do what Square-Enix could?

I am thus playing a meager part in doing what some who thinks like me was expecting: to create that. This is the introductionary script of AC (In English dub) that I have altered so as to fit the Fire Emblem universe. The intro is in Roy's POV. Please enjoy! (Anyone who had Yakusoku no Chi may listen to the song while reading)

Disclaimer: I, for obvious reasons, own neither FFVII, FEVII not AC.

Quintessence… That is what they call the essence of life that encircles each and every being, giving life to the person and thus the world they are living in.

The Dark Druid Nergal discovered a way to use quintessence as an alternative life source. Because of this magically drained and reused quintessence, one may live a very long and comfortable life. But wasn't that because they were taking from others' lives? A lot of people thought so…

Nergal used his newfound power to try and stop everyone in his way. He created create a special group of warriors called MORPHS, and all the MORPHS had dragon quintessence put inside them. The dragons were a mystical entity that fell from the world a long, long time ago after a great war and disappeared from the earth since then, buried in the mists of time…

Anyway, there was one dragon named Sephiroth, who were better than the rest, and when he heard about the terrible calamities that had befallen his race, he began to hate Nergal…

…and then, over time, he began to hate every human…

Nergal and the people against him…

Sephiroth, who hated the human race so much, he only wanted it to disappear…

…and the people who tried to stop him…

There were a lot of battles… For every battle, there was more sadness… Someone nearest and dearest to me lost all his quintessence as well…

…And then, it came, the chosen day…

In the end, fate had to make the battles stop for good… Nergal used his own quintessence as a weapon, and when it burst out of him and summoned Sephiroth to join the fray, a massive battle ensued…

… and when it ended, all the fighting… all the struggles for power and greed… all the grief and sadness… was washed away. To some, sadness was the price to see it end…

It's been ten years since that day, as they told me…

Enjoyed that? I hope you did. If yes, please review, as I am among most review-poverty-stricken author. However, for many reasons, I cannot produce a full-length Fire Emblem VII: Advent Children. Anyone who is interested in the idea may contact me, and maybe at that time I may (not for sure) do up the AC in full.
