Chapter 1: Margaret?
"Come on Mordecai! I'm getting sick and tired of you not doing anything about you and Margaret!" Rigby crosses his arms as he sits on the living room couch. He sees their video game is turned on so he decides to play. Mordecai is pacing in front of the TV and Rigby can't see. "Get out the way bro!" Mordecai suddenly snaps the controller out of Rigby's hands and turns the game off. "Hey!"
"This is serious Rigby! You need to help me! Can't you like... uh set up a situation where I bump into Margaret or something..."
"Sure man, just give me a few minutes and you'll have yourself a cheesy accidental bump!" As Rigby leaves out the door, Mordecai face palms and says,
"This isn't gonna end well..."
A few minutes later at the park's snack bar...
"Uh, hey Margaret!" Rigby notices who he thinks is Margaret but the sun's in his eyes. The figure turns around as he approaches her,
"Oh I'm not Marga-"
"Listen I need to tell you something... can you walk with me?" She looks puzzled and ends up nodding,
"Let me pay for these chips first..." She hands Muscle Man a buck and starts to walk with Rigby. Muscle Man stares as she walks away,
"Who was that chick?" Later Rigby and Margaret suddenly stop near the park fountain when he tells her with hesitation,
"Um let me make a call real quick ok?"
"...Ok" Rigby pulls himself aside and calls Mordecai,
"Dude she's in position..." He goes back to her and glances at Mordecai, walking their way when...
"Oomph!" The corny bump took place. They both move back a bit and Mordecai rubs his head,
"Uh, sorry about that Margaret..." He takes a step closer while she giggles,
Oh I'm not really Marga-"
"Listen... I need you to listen..." Sweat starts to form around his face as he continues, "I-I li-like you... and I wanted to know if... You wanted to go out?" He got quiet, waiting for a response. Rigby sneaks away back to the house.
"Um... I'm sorry." Mordecai bows his head in sadness. She looks guilty for making feel that way and said, "I'm not who you think I am-"
"No it's cool." He walks away towards the house while she runs the opposite direction,
"What am I gonna tell her! I just broke his heart!"
Half an hour later at their house...
'Sorry to hear that dude." Rigby was playing some video games while Mordecai finally got out of their room to talk about it.
"Yeah I know... So what now? It's not like I can now-" Suddenly several knocks accord at the door. Mordecai got up and opened the door, seeming surprised at who it was. "Margaret?!"
"Hey Mordecai! I see you've met her..." Mordecai walks outside with Margaret and closes the door behind him,
"What are you talking about?" He scratches his head in confusion.
"Oh yeah and I'm sorry if she caused you any heart-break ..." She leans over and gives Mordecai a kiss on the cheek, "That girl that looks just like me is my... sister."
"Wait what?! You have a sis?!" He completely snaps out of his kissing trance and is in shock.
"Yep... that was Charlotte. Um and about what you said about feelings... yes I would like to go out." She blushes a bit and waves goodbye, "Ok then see ya at the coffee shop I guess." Mordecai smiles and returns the wave and closes the door slowly. He raises his arm and waves it around,
"Ohhhhhhhhhhh!"
