A/N: When I first started this, I hoped it wouldn't give off that twisted pedophile aura, but to me it kind of does. Plus, I'm feeling crappy, so I can't really get into my empathy-mode. D: Anyway, I hope you enjoy my very first Naruto fanfiction! I don't own Naruto!

Confused

Kakashi-sensei sometimes confused Sakura. No, it was more like he did all the time.

She wondered how he could be so calm and collected in battle, how he could block his Genin team's attacks while still reading his stupid porn book. She wondered how the other teams had felt when Kakashi-sensei had failed them; did they feel the same needy desire to please him as she did?

Whenever Kakashi-sensei was disappointed in her - which was not often - she felt unaccomplished. He was the first sensei who had ever made her cry with his disappointment, and the day after, she was always training to improve for him.

Sasuke was the first to notice her and Kakashi's twisted, forbidden love. He noticed Kakashi's gazes which lingered seconds too long on the pre-teen, and Sakura's constant questions similar to, "Am I doing better, Kakashi-sensei?"

Sasuke always glowered a little at Kakashi when he smiled under his mask from the way Sakura gushed his name.

Sakura still didn't know when the butterflies in her stomach wanting Sasuke's love became an aching, trembling bittersweet longing for Kakashi-sensei. But she knew one thing; Kakashi was feeling just as guilty about what had been silently going on between them for a while.

The day it happened, Kakashi and Sakura were walking home with one another after a day of Kakashi supervising Sakura's training. They were light-heartedly joking together as they walked when Sakura suddenly asked how well she was doing in her training.

"You're doing fine," he'd assured her, a slight narrowing of his eyes and the lifting of the skin on his cheeks telling her he was smiling beneath the mask.

She blushed. "Wow, thanks, Kakashi-sensei!" Indeed she had been enthusiastic in gesticulations, but she had not meant for their hands to bump a little roughly. He didn't flinch like she did, but his ever keen right eye cast a sidelong glance at her. The moment their eyes made contact, his chances of keeping his desire for the young girl a secret were over.

A certain innocence shone in her eyes as they both stopped walking; It was a virginity that he wanted to taint. They stared at one another for a moment until Sakura grasped his dark sleeve in one fist and one of his hands in the other.

Kakashi gripped both of her forearms suddenly and held them up, bending down just a little, but finally got a hold of himself when Sakura's finger hitched into his mask. When the air hit the skin of his face, he pulled back, still gripping her arms in a firm but gentle hold.

"Too soon," he whispered, staring straight at her face as the wind carried his words away. Sakura frowned in disappointment - their faces had been so close. "Not yet, it's too soon."

When would she be enough for him?

A/N: Well, that was my first Naruto drabble fic. Did you like it? Or did it suck? D: Review, if you'd like!
