No, I can't take one more step towards you. 'Cause all that's waiting is regret.

"Beck, please. Go away!" my heart broke when he kissed Tori, "Stay away from me. I'll regret it if I go back to you, if I step towards you!"

Don't you know I'm not your ghost anymore? You lost the love I love the most.

"Beck, I CAN'T love you. You lost the love- you lost MY love. I'm not yours anymore, I'm not yours."

"Jade! NO! I love you!" His eyes flashed with tears.

I learned to live half alive, and now you want me one more time.

"BECK! I'm done. I lived half a life with you, I was half yours, half an individual. Half myself! Go, get away!"

"No, Jade. I love you, not her. Please." He firmly pleaded. But he and I both knew it was over before it started. Goth girls don't live happily ever after. Not in the rules.

And who do you think you are? Runnin' round leaving scars. Collecting your jar of hearts, and tearing love apart.

"Beck, you're only pulling us apart. We'll lose our friendship, please don't do this. Leave me alone! I'm not your Jade, I'm, I'm.. I'm my own. I'm an individual. Don't tear this, this love apart! Who are you? Not Beck, not… not you. Please, go away. You've already left too many scars and bruises." I sobbed into my hands.

"JADE, I'm yours. You're mine. I love you, only you." Beck's eyes pleaded to be forgiven and taken back, but Beck's heart was trying to pry Beck away and be free.

You're gonna catch a cold, from the ice inside your soul. So don't come back for me, who do you think you are?

"You aren't you anymore. There's no warm place in your heart… for me, that is. Maybe someone else…"

"Jade, my WHOLE heart is for you. I want what's best for you, so if you want me to leave, I will." He sighed, knowing what was coming- a good bye. Beck was never good at good byes. Then again, who is?

"Beck?"

"Ya?"

"Don't come back… ever. Don't ever come back for me, okay?"

"I, I… okay. I guess this is, dare I say it, good bye. I love you" He choked back tears, "Goodbye…forever."

I hear you're asking all around, if I am anywhere to be found. But I have grown too strong, to ever fall back in your arms.

"But, Jade?" He shivered, "Will you come back for me?"

"No, I'm too strong for that. I'm sorry, babe. I will never be in your arms again." A single tear ran down my cheek as I choked back a million more, "Bye."

"Goodbye, Jade. I love you, always and forever." I smiled, remembering when he used to say that to me. He saw it and a few more tears ran down his face.

"Are- Are you, happy that we're over?" He asked, knowing I was.

I took in a big breath and sighed, "Yes."
