Her Eye
Disclaimer: coughbullshitcough if I owned Naruto I wouldn't have to write FAN fiction now would I?
Her eyes, they are his anchor, all he has to do is look in to them and all his problems go away. "Shiiiiiiika, Shiiiiiiiiiika!" she calls his name.
"Ino I swear I have told you on multiple occasions that I hate being called 'Shika'"
"But, I like calling you Shika, and you know you like when I call it out when were-"
"INO!"
"Oh, Sorry!"
The boy than mumbles something along the lines of troublesome. The blonde slowly gets up off the grass that she and the brunette have been laying on and kisses the lazy boy. These two teens are Shikamaru Nara, and Ino Yamanaka they live in the ninja village of Konaha, along with their friends who like them are ninjas. (A.N. I know you probably already know this but :P)
The teens meet up with their friends later at Starbucks where you know they get coffee.
"So…"
"HEY SHIKAMARU WAKE UP!" One loud blond ninja yelled
"Shut up dobe" said the emo duck assed hair person
"Make me teme"
"Maybe I will"
"AHHHH SAKURA YOUR BOYFRIENDS TRYING TO RAPE ME"
*awkward silence*
"What did Naruto just say?" Tenten asked
"Hehehehe please don't kill me!" says Naruto as he runs away from Sakura and Sasuke
"Well Ten, I think we should tell them already" said one Hyuuga prodigy
"TELL US WHAT?"
"Naruto shut the FUCK UP!"
"Well Neji and I have been dating each other for a while" said Tenten
"Really so have Shika and I!" added Ino
"Wait so you're telling me he's too lazy to not sleep all day but he dates you, what the fuck?"
"So what about you Naruto?" asked Ino trying to get the attention away from her Shikamaru
"Um well let me be far away for this" he than ran to the other side of the Starbucks and yelled "ME AND HINATA ARE DATING" Neji than started to chase the poor blonde boy around said Starbucks
Once that was settled everyone just split into groups and made small talk.
"Well I would love to stay and chat but Ino and I have to work at the hospital tonight" Sakura announced. Everybody than split up and went home or to work.
The next day
Last night was the happiest Shikamaru has been in months, he woke to his girlfriend coming home, where they finally admitted their love to each other and then consummated their relationship. Ever since Chouji and Asuma died he had been a former shell of him self, he no longer went cloud watching, he would just lay in his bed at home and sleep. But recently when Ino started coming over they would just lay there and he would look into her eyes and everything would be alright.
"Do you think they would be proud" ask the blonde
"I know they would"
