Kagome was always the type to attract no matter where she went. Wether that be misfortune or good luck, what she attracted exactly varied from situation to situation. But recently, she hadn't been attracting much of anything, and although alarming at first, she believed that the gods were finally pardoning her of her misdeeds, or whatever began her innate ability to attract. So with this in mind, she silently opened the pantry to grab the cookies that would accompany her victory milk, a silly reward for her recent period of lack of attraction. Yet, just as she took a seat she noticed a rather peculiar visitor,"What the hell?"

There, on the other side of the kitchen window flew a figure shrouded with the soft darkness of night. Even so, she could make out what it was clearly, yet that wasn't what had her curious. It was an owl, fairly large with thick brown feathers and grooved talons. On its right foot lay a little cylindrical container, and in its beak it carried what appeared to be a letter.

Her curiosity got to the best of her, so taking a bite out of her first milk soaked cookie she unlatched the windows and allowed the strange creature inside the house. Immediately, the owl jutted out its beak to her as if to ask her to take the letter. A light sniff in the air told her there was no poison, and so she took it with slight caution. The owls orange eyes bore at her, and she questioned why it hadn't left. But, the little cylindrical cartridge seemed to be holding some type of money, so she assumed it was waiting for payment. With a sigh, her eyes scanned the room before they landed on the still full package of cookies. Taking two she shoved them at the owls face in which it squawked indignantly before taking them in its beak and flying off.

The demoness couldn't help but roll her eyes at the owls attitude, but her attention once again returned to the slightly crinkled letter in her hand. Resuming her earlier position at the table, Kagome easily opened the letter. Heterochromic eyes grew large with the information the letter held. Kagome was in shock, she hadn't at all been anticipating this when she had opened the letter. She fell into her seat with large eyes and a heartily beating heart. After eating two more cookies -even in her shocked state she couldn't resist the pleasure of chocolate chip- she cleaned up the mess from her late night snack, and retreated upstairs.

Instead of entering her room when she reached the loft, she took a left and instead entered Sesshomarus. Silver hair gently illuminated by the moonlight pooled around his sleeping form, his soft breathing expressing his exhaustion. Even so, as she approached his bed his amber eyes opened to greet her,"Sessh, I have something important to show you."

She handed him the letter, and his eyes flashed with surprise with the newfound information, yet it wasn't something he was shocked by. Unseen, yes, but there had been strange incidents concerning his younger sister as of late. In fact, earlier that day had been one of those incidents. He had just returned home, only to find her asleep and levitating above the couch. It had been slightly alarming, yet he had not sensed the presence of an unwelcome demon nor a dark priestess, so she had been rather alarmed when she woke to find herself in mid air. Still, life would be a tad blander and more troublesome without his dear imouto around.

So, as if to cherish their last few moments together, Kagome snuggled into her brothers strong chest, and fell into a comforted sleep.

It had been a week since the letter had first made its abrupt arrival. Light streamed daintily from open curtains, gently resting onto Kagome's peaceful face. Slowly, she was aroused from her slumber with a content state of mind, doing her daily ritual before it hit her. Today was the day she went to England, then to some town hub of sorts called Hogsmead. Those wizards had the strangest names for things, Hogwarts and Hogsmead, it was almost as though they had a fascination with hogs. The only time she had a fascination with such creatures when they were presented to her in the form of food, as she had been slightly unimpressed with the creatures as a child.

Kagome trudged throughout her room and ensured she wasn't leaving anything, taking great care to make sure everything matched her mental checklist. A sigh left her parted lips as she took in her room for one last time. It would be months until she would return to this room, to her home country in fact. Turning, she closed the door diligently with a soft click as her signal. She took no time in making her way downstairs, and her fingertips lightly trailed the walls in her descent, preparing herself for long trip ahead. There at the bottom of the steps she was met with a grumpy Rin, a cute pout on her face and her eyebrows lightly furrowed. Kagome glanced up questioningly at Sesshomaru, but he appeared as if he was ignoring his daughter, "Maru, whats wrong?"

"Rin refuses to listen to this Sesshomaru and allow me to clothe her. I will not allow her to run rampant while half naked."

Kagome took note of the fact that Rin was indeed half naked, the only article clothing her was her diaper and a sock with out its twin. Kagome sighed, whatever would Sesshomaru do without her? Rin had mastered the art of crawling naught but two weeks ago, yet she was already striving to walk. Even so she was a wiggler, and refused to stay still at any moment in time; this was especially apparent when changing her diaper or clothes. Kagome shook her head, and propped Rin on her hip while she grabbed the offered clothes from Sesshomarus hand, "Hey Sessh, did you put on her lotion and baby powder already?"

"Of course, this Sesshomaru is always on task," she rolled her eyes at his reference to his person, Kagome had thought she had gotten him past that. At least he didn't have an icicle shoved up his ass. Most of the time.

With quick movements she had Rin dressed and ready for the day, and Kagome couldn't help but snap a few pictures for safe keeping. After all, her little niece looked darling in her ruffled tulle skirt, white leggings and tank beneath her jean jacket. She had to hand it to Sesshomaru, he was fully adjusted to the whole outfit part of having a baby, and dare she say that he was fashionable. But, hair was another story. The only thing Sesshomaru could manage was a side ponytail, and Kagome knew that when she left that would become Rin's signature hairstyle. At least it was cute.

As if to honor the last time Rin would get her hair done in a different style during her absence, Kagome procured two half up crown braids that would truly show off Rin's soft baby curls, more thick waves than anything. Once again Kagome sighed, she wished she never had to leave her babies. As if reminded by the thought, she turned to Sesshomaru with a questioning look upon her face,"Where's Ship?"

"Sleeping. Do not disturb him, he had difficulty falling asleep last night. After all, you are leaving today. Late as it is."

Damn, she wanted to at least give that little booger a good-bye kiss. Wait a second, late? Kagomes eyes swiveled to the clock that hung above the dining room table. Shit! She was late! Eyes bore accusingly at Sesshomaru, but her elder brother just dismissed her. Kagome let out a huff in frustration, using her demonic speed to give a kiss to all the occupants in the house before she grabbed her trunk and raced to the airport, not wasting time on something as frivolous a car. Her speed gave her the right advantage, and not even a blur was seen as she entered the airport, dropped off her baggage, and raced to her terminal.

Just as the gates were about to be closed, she appeared, frightening the young man standing there. Handing him her tickets and passport, he called the pilot informing her that there was a late first classer waiting to board. The pilot responded in saying that they were a few minutes behind schedule so it would be fine. Nodding his approval, he handed Kagome her stamped ticket and passport, whom then performed a light jog to the airplane.

It was easy to navigate through the walkways to her seat, and Kagome was grateful that there were so few people on the plane that she had a whole row of seats to herself. All she had to keep her entertained was her phone and some books about the customs of England, and another about some of the history of the Wizarding society. With her earbuds shoved into her ears, Kagome read until her eyelids were heavy with sleep, and finally she consented.

"We have now arrived at London. Please exit the plane in an orderly fashion. Thank you for riding the Mondé, have a safe trip!" a cheery flight attendant by the name of Ami broke Kagome's light slumber. Yawning deeply, Kagome stretched and relinquished in the feeling of relief she gained. This was it. She was finally here, in a land foreign to her and about to embark on an adventure.

A few calculated motions allowed her to collect her things in an orderly manner before she began the descent out of the plane and into the airport. The smells here were strange, some slightly abrasive, but the air seemed a tad cleaner than the land she claimed her home. Taking one more moment to survey the area around her Kagome decided that she had no more time to delay and began to make her way to the baggage claim. Her luggage was easily identifiable due to the fact that it was essentially a trunk, but she payed the questioning looks no mind. Instead, she scanned those around her in search of the man called Hagrid.

He was easily identifiable amongst the crowd of people, towering over all that passed by him and sign was held clear in his hands. It read 'Kagome Taishou'. For a moment Kagome questioned the foreign appearance of her own name, but realized that other countries wrote the surname following the first name, and she mentally smacked herself for not having thought of it before. Walking up to him, the large man greeted her," 'Ello, I'm Hagrid, the 'Ogwarts gamekeeper."
