Front Door
"Will you ever say it?" She looked up at me and I could tell that my answer was going to be the end.
"I only wish I could." I watched as she turned and began to gather her stuff.
"Don't leave the team because of me. They love you too much."
"But the one person whom I love will never love me back. At least not in the way I need or want."
She made her way over to the front door and stopped, hand gripping the door handle and back still towards me.
"Will I see you again?"
I shake my head, not that she can see.
"Not like this." I see her hang her head.
"Then I wish you the best."
With that she was gone. She had just walked out my door and out of my life. I did wish I could love her, but I knew what loving her meant and that was something she could do without.
As the sound of her car moving away from my house filled my ears I made my way over to my front door and shut it, along with my heart.
So as always this is a story about the wonderful KIBBS!! just a short one but it came to me and i thought it was sweet.
Even though this is a kibbs story i left out kate and gibb's names because i was curious to see who cam to mind when you guys read it.
So when you review ( yes when not if!) add who you thought it was about.
