AN: A poem I wrote a long time ago. Mainly based when Sasuke was still dark and planning to destroy Konoha. I decided to post it since I found it. It is slightly SasuSaku after all. ~ Wahyah
I waited and waited for you.
You never came, so what was I left to do?
I cried and cried.
Eventually, that girl you once knew faded and died.
You left and took her along.
I wasn't that girl anymore now. I've become strong.
You've changed too much, too far gone to bring back.
As I'm watching my home under attack.
I knew that when you left that day,
things were going to end this way.
You fought each other to the death
Trying to prove who really was the best.
Now you both got what you wanted.
Now this scene will forever in my mind be haunted.
The two men I loved are dead and gone.
My best friends who were there all along.
I tried to keep you both alive,
both of you hanging by a thread.
I wasn't good enough
And now both of you are dead
You both left me here alone to fend for myself
Without anyone else here to help.
My heart torn in two
By two boys, one with onyx hair and the other with eyes so blue.
My home left in shambles and so few alive
I guess the true Ninja way, "Don't make attachments. Just try to survive."
