Music Mania: Artemis II

"More!"

"I've already sang twelve songs, no more."

"MORE!!!!" Beckett screamed at the top of his lungs. Artemis sighed and handed Beckett the CDs and sat down on one of his chairs. Beckett was shuffling through CDs, looking for songs.

Curse mother and father for making me babysit him while they take Myles to the dentist. How can it take this long to check his teeth?! He only had twenty!

"This one!" The two-year-old demanded and handed him the CD. Artemis's eyes went big and he shook his head.

"No. Absolutly not! I refuse!" He said throwing the CD on top of the others. Beckett glared at him and pouted.

"YES! This one!"

"NO!" Beckett crossed his small pudgy arms in front of him and pouted more. It was a bit difficult because he had to hold himself back from laughing.

Beckett had successfully forced Artemis to dress up in a shirt with only two of the buttons buttoned and his boxers. The fourteen-year-old had only given so Beckett would quit crying. His plan had succeeded, but now he felt utterly embarrased and then there was that breeze that kept going up the wrong place at the wrong time.

"Sing!" Artemis shook his head. That was when the waterworks began.

"WAAAAAAHHHHH!!!!!" He wailed loudly. Aretmis ignored him for a couple minutes, but eventually couldn't take it.

"Give me the CD." Beckett quit crying immediatly and handed his brother the CD.

Artemis put the CD into the Karaoke machine and waited for the lyrics to pop up. Myles and Beckett had broke the mics a while back, so he was stuck singing into a hair brush.

Music began playing and Artemis started dancing around like an idiot.

"Everybody's looking for love.

Oh Oh. Ain't that the Reason we're at this club?

Oh Oh. You won't find it dancing with him. No oh.

I gotta solution for you girl Oh Oh.

Leave with me now

Say the word and We'll go

I'll be your teacher, I'll show you the ropes.

You'll see a side of love you've never known

I can see it going down

It's going down"

Artemis wasn't bad at singing, but the fact that he was actually doing this was why Beckett couldn't help, but giggle.

Due to the loud music, Artemis didn't hear the front door shut or his parents' voices.

"In my head

I see you all over me

In my head

You full fill my fantasy

In my head

You're screaming Oh Oh Oh

In my hea..."

"Artemis, what are you doing?" Artemis Sr watched as his son jumped a foot in the air at the sound of his voice. Angeline giggled.

"Um, well..."

"He was singing." Beckett said smiling. Artemis Sr raised an eyebrow.

"Care to explain?"

"Nope." With that, Artemis II left the room.
