Storm, a grey eyed, sapphire blue seawing who was hatched and raised in the Seawing Villages, huffed. 'No mother I don't need your help.' She flashed, giving the taller dragon a fierce glare. "Listen dear- I know ever since the incident happened and your father was taken, you've never wanted help. Please, i'm tired of seeing my little girl push herself away like this." She said, her soft, sweet voice filled with sadness. Storm stayed silent for a moment, before growling. "I said I don't need your help." She snapped, before turning around and stomping into her room. She heard her mother sigh behind her, and she felt a pang of guilt, but she pushed it away as she resumed her packing. 'I turned 8 decades ago, I should have left already.' She thought, shoving a blanket into her bag. Of course, she hadn't. Her hatching day had been only last week, but she had been eager to get out of there and explore the world. 'Maybe I should head to Possibility..no. That's too far. Maybe a Rainwing Village..?' She snorted, throwing her bag over her scarred back and walking out of her now fairly empty room. "You promise you'll visit? Right?" Her mother asked, a hint of desperation in her voice. "Yes mother..I promise I'll come back to visit." She said, letting the light blue seawing pull her into a hug. "Don't get hurt- ok..?" She murmered, before letting her go. Storm smiled, practically burning with excitment as finally being let go. "I promise I won't. I love you mum." She said, giving her mother a peck on the cheek before running out. She was finally free! No more curfews and eating all of her dinner. She could do what she wanted now! She kept her grin on her face as she walked through the village, eventually looking back at it before continuing on. 'I should head West. Maybe get a job with the skywings?' She thought, her eyes on the ground ahead of her. She took in a deep breath, before walking further into the forest, away from home. Little did she know, her new life had just started.
