Fluttershy rushed into her hut and shut the door. She had to contain it. The rage building up inside her, the terrible red hatred that threatened to take control.
Have to find the potion! Where is the potion! She looked frantically around for it, turning her hut inside out, but not finding anything. Dear Celestia, its coming now! What do I do, what do I do, what do I do, what do I d-
Fluttershy straightened suddenly, her eyes wide. With an unusual serene look on her face, Fluttershy stood. As if in a dream, she slowly walked over to her kitchen, grabbed a knife in her mouth, and exited her home, looking straight ahead the entire time. The yellow pegasus walked out of her house, past the series of animal shelters that had been home to several living creature prior to Derpy Hooves crashing into them and collapsing the roofs of three of them, killing the animals inside. She looked up, a strange smile on her face, and took flight with ease unaccustomed to Fluttershy.

Derpy Hooves lay crying in her bed in her home up in Cloudsdale. She didn't mean to kill the poor little animals, she had just tried to dodge a falling tree, and lost her balance in the air. She cringed as she thought of the sound the poor animals' bones had made as she (sort of) saw the roofs caving in. She left a note, expressing how sorry she was, but it was covered in tears and blood from her several scrapes and mostly unintelligible, except for where she had signed her name. She hoped Fluttershy would forgive her. She hoped that she would understand that it was just an accident, a product of her damned eyes. There was a knock on the door, and Derpy wiped her tears away with a hoof and got up to answer it. Still sniffling, she opened the door to reveal Fluttershy, carrying a knife in one hoof.
"Fluttershy! Oh Goddesses I'm sorry! It was an accident! Please forgive me, I'm really sorry! It was just I was flying, an- an- and this tree fell and I tried to (sniff) d-dodge it and I hit the thing and it just fell an- an- and." The blond pegasus broke down into a fit of sobs once more.
Fluttershy grinned at her. "It's okay Derpy, I know its not your fault."
"Y- you do?" asked Derpy.
"Of course I do my dearest vision-impaired friend. Accidents happen, now lets get inside and I'll make you a nice cup of tea. Does that sound nice?" Fluttershy cooed in a reassuring voice.
Blinking away tears, Derpy nodded, showing the yellow pony in and not even noticing the knife in her hoof.
"So, wheres Dinky?" asked Fluttershy nonchalantly, closing and locking the door behind her.
"I (sniff) sent her over to play with Scootaloo for tonight. Are you sure you're not mad at me?"
"Of course Derpy. I'm not one to hold a grudge am I?" said the now grinning pegasus as she tightened her grip (wait, what?) on the knife and moved closer to the grey pony.
"Fl- Fluttershy? What are you doing?" said Derpy, noticing the knife for the first time as Fluttershy moved closer, and closer, and closer to her.
"Like I said my dear, I'm not mad at you. But that doesn't mean you don't have to pay for the lives you've taken. As servant of Themis, I now give your life to him to as payment for your crimes."
"Wh- wh- what?" said Derpy, now frantically backing up from Fluttershy. Her back hit a wall as Fluttershy pressed up against her now terrified friend.
"Nothing personal, it is the will of the divine." and with that, she brought the knife up and in a fluid motion cut cleanly through Derpy's throat. Fluttershy then walked away as her friend put both hooves to her throat and gave a gurgled yell, her eyes bulging, before collapsing onto the floor in a pool of her own blood.
