Prolouge

Takato Matsuki never gave much thought to death. More specifically, how he was going to die. He just assumed that it'd happen when the time called for it, like in books, or movies, or anime when the hero realizes it was his duty to die and save the world.

But this was real life, things like that just didn't happen. And he certainly wasn't a hero.

He was stuck between a fire breathing monster known as Guilmon, and a green eyed monster known as a human girl.

What a way to go, right ?

He was always told to start death in the eye. To face fate with courage.

All of that disapeared when he realized death was staring right back.
