Mei's POV
"Come on Elle! Hang in there just a little longer! We have to win! Use slash!" I yelled at my badly beaten Leipard as she fought hard.
"Give up now Mei! I'll give you one chance to give up!" my opponent, Colress yelled across the room at me.
"Never Colress! I have to defeat Team Plasma!" I yelled.
Moments afterward my poor Leipard, Elle, fainted on the ground. Just like my other Pokemon. I was defeated. I couldn't believe it. This cannot be happening. I returned Elle to her PokeBall and then quickly went searching through my bag, frantically for another Pokemon.
What I didn't notice was Colress walking towards me. I didn't notice until he was right in front of me. I looked up terrified. This was the man I used to have a small crush on and I looked up to. He had betrayed everyone. He was a liar from the very start.
"Mei. Mei." He said my name quickly, grabbing my arm softly.
"Don't touch me!" I yelled pulling away from him.
That was a wrong move on my part. He tried to grab my arm again and I backed up and kept backing up, until I hit the back of a wall.
"Nowhere to run now Mei. Give up and I promise I won't turn you over to Ghetsis." He said quietly trying to take my hand.
"Why should I believe you! You'd lied to me before!" I yelled.
"No need to be so vocal Mei. The grunts will see you and then I won't be able to stop them from taking you to Ghetsis. Then you'll have nothing but defeated Mei. Let me help you." He said getting closer and closer to me.
"I'd rather die than admit defeat to you." I snarled. I'd pulled his last straw. He was mad now. He grabbed my arms and held them high above my head, not caring that he was hurting me.
"I think you should accept my offer Mei, dearest, or you will pay the price!" Colress yelled.
"I won't accept your offer Colress, if that even is your real name!" I yelled.
His face suddenly mellowed and he smirked and said, "Very well then Mei. If you won't accept my offer then you will suffer Mei."
"W-what do you mean Colress…?" I said suddenly feeling terrified.
I felt his arms wrap around my waist and I felt terrified. "C-colress!" I yelled.
He kissed me, right on the lips. I felt so scared and yet oddly it felt so sweet and innocent. He pulled away too quickly.
"Goodnight Mei." He said.
His face was the last thing I saw, before everything went black.
