An: My irritation at the lack of Cuddy mentioning is growing, so, voila. Takes places in Man of the House, and SPOILER, I am sooooo looking forward to next week, I was just thinking about how I wanted Blythe back on.
It was late. That was the only answer you would get out of House if you asked him what time it was. The Red Bulls had worn off, and House was half asleep on his couch. Dominika was still next to him, he was pretty sure. He had his eyes closed, and his head was resting on his fist, which was held up by resting his elbow on the arm of the couch. He was pretty sure he had all of Dominika's information, but Park was starting to quiz him. Did he mention he was tired?
"Siblings." The young doctor prompted.
"One sister," he mumbled back, barely audible. "Julia." Park looked at him in confusion, and Dominika opened her eyes to look at him. "She has a husband and three kids, two boys, and a girl." He continued. "She calls her sister "Jules", and she finds "Jules" incredibly irritating most of the time. Mostly because her mom likes Julia more than her."
'Where did she go to school?' was the next question, so House answered, "She went to Michigan, had way more than a normal person class load," he smirked, "but always made time to go out."
Relationship with her parents, that was the next one. "Her mom is still alive, train ride away, and Rachel always goes to visit her on Fridays. She was always a Daddy's Girl though. He called her "Lisey Baby". He died when she was 31, and that's what motivated her to apply for Dean of Medicine. She knew what she wanted to do when she was 12, after going to work with her dad, and seeing him work. She's not sure what she believes about religion, but she knows that she wants heaven to be real, because everything she does is to make her dad proud."
What was the next one? "Kids. She's always wanted kids, but put them off to make a career." He stayed quiet for a bit. "When she decided it was time, she tried IVF, but she'd miscarry, or it wouldn't take. A few years later, she tried adoption. On her second try, she got a baby girl, she named her Rachel." After that, his voice got less serious, "Her favorite color's blue, she loves red roses, she likes to run, play tennis, and do yoga. She has really terrible taste in music," he said with a smile, "but is able to recognize good music when it's played for her."
'What side of the bed?' "She used to sleep on the left, and I used to sleep on the right, but we switched. She always uses my arm for a pillow. She likes when I hold her after sex, and she gets scared if she wakes up in the middle of the night, and I'm not there."
Family. "She really likes my mom, and her mom and I have a mutual respect, but we don't like each other."
Vacation. "We didn't go on vacation except for weekend getaways to hotels just outside the city, even though she promised me she'd let me take her to France."
Highschool friends. "She doesn't talk to many friends other than Wilson. One of her favorite things to do when we don't have the rugrat," he started to sound like he was out of breath, and he was speaking softer, "is come here and listen to me play...piano...or...gui..." His breathing became deep, and regular.
Park stared at him, "What?" He obviously knew all these things about some woman, but he couldn't hold onto anything about Dominika. Dominika looked at his face, she was fairly certain she knew who he was talking about.
The next day, Park told House that they were going to study more. "Why?" He asked. "We did it last night."
"You answered all the questions, but for a different woman."
He stayed quiet for awhile. He glanced to the side, "What did I say?"
"You said she had a sister name Julia, and a daughter. Dominika has all brothers, and no kids."
"We'll use Wilson's office," he said.
