I'm currently moving all my stories from livejournal over to here in case anyone wants to read them.

Yeah, so kid!fic AU I wrote a few years ago. To be followed by Arthur's Quest for Merlin's Stupid Toy.

Arthur crept towards the mouth of the cave where the Great Dragon lived. He raised his sword, ready for any sudden attacks. He had to get inside, his damsel was waiting and he really needed to get her back. Arthur listened for the Dragon's roar.

"RAWR!"

Arthur lowered his plastic sword and glared at his friend Gwaine, who abandoned his dragon pose to stare at Arthur. "What?"

"Gwaine, that is not how a dragon roars." Arthur stated, a hand on his hip and his sword dangling by his side.

Gwaine scoffed. "Well then, you should have made Merlin the dragon! He loves it!"

"Merlin's the damsel. Because he's such a girl" Arthur glanced over at Merlin. The little boy had gotten bored of waiting to be saved and was now looking over the rim of his glasses before looking through them, watching the world magnify and shrink with each move of his head. He did it a lot. What a girl. Arthur sighed and turned to his bravest Knight.

Leon was the coolest person in the world. He could take on any dragon, even one Gwaine shaped. And his sword was pretty awesome. Leon grinned, showing off the gap in his teeth. "Sire? Shall we rescue the damsel now?"

"Yes Sir Leon! Onwards!"

"CHARGE!"

Leon and Arthur raced forward, swords raised and began battle with the mighty dragon. Whilst Leon took control of the ferocious battle, Arthur braved the cave in search of his damsel in distress.

"My Lady? I am Prince Arthur and I am here to rescue you!"

"My Fair Prince, I'm over here!"

"RAWR!"

Oh really. "Gwaine! Learn to roar!"

"Shut up Arfur, I'm doing awesome"

"Are not!"

"Are too!"

"Are not!"

"WILL YOU HURRY UP AND RESCUE ME PLEASE?!"

Everyone turned to Merlin.

Merlin blushed and pushed his glasses up his nose. "Only, the bells gonna ring soon." He suddenly pitched forward and landed hard in the dirt. Edwin, the bully in the next grade, was laughing at Merlin.

Merlin sniffled and looked at his grazed hands. "You... You p-pushed me." Edwin only laughed and walked back to his friends, shouting over his shoulder "Cry baby!"

Arthur rushed forward and helped Merlin up, dusting off his clothes. He turned to Leon. "Sir Leon, please defend the damsel's honour."

Leon saluted, "Yes Sire! Come, Gwaine!" before the two ran off, their battle cries heard around the entire playground.

Merlin frowned at Arthur. "Why'd you do that?"

Arthur just rolled his eyes. "Because you're my damsel, Duh."
