Title: Family Reunion
Characters: Regina/Robin Hood
Scene: Season 3 Finale
"There's something you should know..." Emma said hesitantly, "I brought someone back from the past, and she still thinks of you as..."
"...Evil." Regina finished for her.
Emma nodded, thankful to not have to say the words herself. "I'm going to bring her over. I already told her it was okay, but it's a little delicate and I feel like if she met you she'll see."
"I understand," stated Regina. And she did; she did understand that to some people she will always be evil. There are some wrongs she will never be able to undo. No matter how hard she tried. But she wouldn't give up, she couldn't. Not now. She finally had Henry back and he is proud of her. He remembers her. He loves her.
And on top of that, she has Robin and Roland. She never thought she would find love again and now she has three people to love, who lover her in return. She has three people to be good for. So she won't give up, she will talk to this woman that Emma saved and she will do everything in her power to convince her that she isn't the Evil Queen anymore.
"Regina, I would like you to meet..."
"Marian," exclaimed Robin. "Marian is that really you?!"
"Robin?" replied Marian.
"I thought you were dead," stated a disbelieving Robin. "I thought I would never see you again." And then he hugged her.
But how does he know her, this stranger from the past, wondered Regina? Were the friends? Lovers? Husband and Wife? Thousands of possibilities raced through Regina's head, none of them good. Who is she? What does she mean to him? What will this mean for us!
So many emotions filled Regina's heart and mind: doubt, worry, confusion, sadness, regret. Time seemed to drag on for what seemed like years. She had to know who this woman was, but couldn't find the voice to ask. Tears already started to pool in her eyes, waiting to fall, waiting for her heart to break again.
And then he spoke, Roland, the most adorable little boy in the world (besides Henry) granted her hope with two little words, "Aunt Marian?"
