Introduction: The Day
One bright morning in Nuvema Town, everything seemed peaceful. Waking on the floor (due to falling in the night), Josh staggered to his feet. Today was the day he was allowed to get a Pokemon from Professor Juniper.
"Finally!" He shouted as he threw off his pajamas and dashed to the closet.
"What should I wear? Should I go casual, or formal? I don't know!" Josh suddenly noticed a pile of folded clothes on his desk.
"Huh?"
He grabbed the note sitting on the desk and read aloud, "Josh, I got you some new clothes and supplies for your trip. Sorry I couldn't be here, work's terrible here."
As Josh clothed himself, he saw a bag sitting next to his bed. That must have been the bag of supplies! Josh opened it and inside found some potions and spare clothes.
After he dressed himself, Josh went downstairs and made himself some breakfast.
Sabrina had already planned everything out for the day she started her adventure. Get dressed, pack, and head to the lab. She had always wanted to have a Pokemon friend, but could never catch one without weakening it. Every trainer should know that!
Sabrina dashed out the door too excited to care. As she ran down the road, she noticed the boy her age who lived in town. She couldn't recall his name, but he seemed more excited than she was!
She kept running and didn't notice when she slammed into the boy in front of the lab.
"Whoa," He said as he reached for her arm to pull her off the ground, "Sorry, I didn't see you there. I'm Josh. I'm here to get my first Pokemon."
