I found this in a pile of ideas I wrote down awhile ago. I'm guessing I was in a depressing mood when I wrote this...anyways. Please Review. Love, Anernerk

Disclaimer: Still not Stephanie Meyer, which means I still don't own Twilight.

They could have been great, but she ruined that. She had let the best thing in her life go. And why, because she was scared, scared of falling in love again. It was too late to worry about that now. She was passed falling, she was already in it. But it didn't matter because she let him go.

I miss your soft lips. I miss your white sheets.

I miss the scratch of your unshaved face on my cheek.

And this is so hard cause I didn't see that you were the love of my life and it kills me.

She made him hate her. So bad that he wanted nothing to do with her. She broke his heart into a million pieces, tore it out of his chest, and stomped on it. At the time, she wanted him to hate her, wanted him to hate her so much that he would forget ever loving her. Maybe then it would have been easier for her to just forget about him as well, but that was never the case. And now she regrets it. He'll always be in her heart and in her dreams. He consumes her life and sometimes it's just too much for her to handle.

I see your face in strangers on the street.

I still hear your name, when I'm talking in my sleep.

And in the limelight, I play it off fine.

But I can't handle it when I turn off the night light.

She wasn't being honest with herself when she said she could live without him. When he told her how much he loved her, it was just too much to bare. She never expected him to catch her. She only wanted him to hear about it from his other friends. But she'll never forget the look on his face when he walked into the room, to see her in bed with his best friend. She couldn't tell if the look was more hurt or betrayal, but she decided it was somewhere in between.

They say that true love hurts.

Well this could almost kill me.

The life is fading from me, while you watch my heart bleed.

She had meant to hurt him, and she had succeeded. She remembers the day like it was yesterday, the day he told her he was leaving and never coming back. She cried herself to sleep that night, but she had no one else to blame. It was her fault he was gone. They could have been something great, but she ruined that.

Young love murder that is what this must be.

I would give it all, to not be sleeping alone...
