Hi, everyone! I'm back again with another RK poem. This time I did Kaoru's point of view how Kenshin shows his love. Its sequel to Love from afar and hopefully it captures the emotional range I try to show for Kaoru. Kenshin does put a lot of distance between his relationship with Kaoru because of his past. So, I try to display how Kaoru might feel about his actions to not to get into a romantic relationship with her. My poem will have some errors but I suspected that would happen with each poem I made. However, I will not accept any flames about the character, Kaoru, and all flames of this type will be sent into a vacuum of space to never be heard from again. Well, enjoy the poem. ;)

Disclaimer: I do not have any rights over with the creating, characters, or story of Rurouni Kenshin, even though, I wish I had some influence with this show. Blah to you, evil lawyers.

Lawyers: Well, up yours, wannabe.

Auroi: WHY YOU, BEEPS! (Chases lawyers with a giant pitchfork)

-' Now on with the poem!

I wait for the day

When your heart

Is within my reach

A smile filled

Genuine bless

Shows on your mask

Indifference

Laughter without tears or regret

Flow from your lips

To tell me

You have stop thinking

Of the past.

I saw a soul filled with

A vast maze of secrets

Craving a emotional touch

Of another

Finding a purpose

To relive again

While I gazing in your ever-changing eyes.

Commitment and promises

Bestow blooding scars

To tell your silent tales

Of war, blood, and betrayal

Old love refuses to remove its spell

Always rolling in the corners of your mind

Haunting your dreams.

Knowing your unspoken pain and memories

I wait for the day

When your heart

Releases past fears and regrets

Let me into your tattered soul

To start the healing

That time has forgotten.
