I sighed. Editing this video was a pain. Ever since Final Cut updated, it's been slow as f***. Maybe I'll have Nico look at it later. Either way, classes were starting tomorrow and I needed to let everyone know why I won't be uploading as often as normal.
Shade walked over and sat down beside me, clearly asking for pets. I turned to my zoroark and scratched his ear. I sighed again, so far this year has had me bite back the desire to punch a kid in the face, strengthened my fear of bug types, I've run on ice, and Spark (my jolteon, not Aliegha's joltik) hasn't stopped moving since I let him out of his pokeball when I got to my dorm last night.
I heard a knock.
I turned to face the door and called out, "come in."
It was Nick, surprisingly.
"hey man. Just wanted to see how you were setting in. Moving can be tough, and coming to a school like this basically is."
I smiled, "trust me, there are kids who need it more than me. What I need is for my computer to work. F*** Final Cut Pro won't render and I really don't want 8 million people storming Cerulean City asking why I'm not uploading."
"wait, 8 million people storming Cerulean? Specifically? Nice try, but I doubt that you're GhostOfCerluean."
I opened Pokeview, and showed my profile to the sandy haired junior.
Nick whistled and said, "damn. I guess I now associate with a celebrity."
This statement prompted a facepalm from me. I'm not that famous. Hell, it was my first collaboration with LapisLazuliMelloetta that even got me over a million. Me and Lapis became pretty good friends thereafter, Hell, she even told me who she was. And no, I am not telling you. She'd kill me, fangirls would never leave either of us alone, and I would never throw away my friend's trust like that.
Just then, my computer finished rendering. I turned to it and smiled. Time to upload.
Oh.
Crap.
Time to upload. When clearly my computer is having problems.
I went back to Pokeview and began the upload.
Nick was actually still here and kinda creeping me out. So I decided to have Shade escort him from my dorm. "Shade, get Nick it of here, any means necessary."
As Shade scared the s*** out of Nick, I checked the comments of my other videos. A lot of them were requests to cover some songs, most of which were on the list, or asking me to collaborate with JohtoJoltik. Many of the later comments also mentioned we'd be cute together. I already had done my research and meant to reach out to her, but after I had received my acceptance email from the academy, I had kinda forgotten. Now I had set aside Winter break to try again.
Actually, now that I think about it, looking at her vlog thumbnails, I swear that she looks just like Aliegha. Actually, no, she straight up is Aliegha. Joy. The internet ships me with my classmate.
I looked at Shade and just now saw Nick was gone. I'll have to apologize at some point I guess.
I noticed that my video excuse was done uploading and so far, seemed well received. Thank goodness.
