"Ew, what the hell do you think you're doing?" Lilith exclaimed, eyeing Mordecai with disgust.
"What does it look like darling?" He replied, eyes still focused on taking his shoes off.
"It's been a week in this hell hole Mordecai. A week! And you're taking off your shoes? Do you know how bad that will smell?" Lilith sighed, sprawling herself on the old, beaten couch.
"It's been a week, Mordecai," He said mockingly, throwing his hands up in air quotes. "And yet you think you can even still smell? You're surrounded by death and bandits! Shouldn't you be complaining about that?"
Mordecai sighed in relief as he pulled his socks off, wiggling is bare feet. He lifted his head and grinned innocently at Lilith, hoping she wouldn't leap out of her spot.
"Mordecai, you're an asshole." She muttered, punching him in the shoulder.
