DM Little Red Riding Edith
It was very quiet indeed in the Gru residence that day. Just then Gru called, ''I have just had Grandma on de phone'' he said ''She's not been very well lately so here are some bits to help her feel better''. He pointed to a basket on the table.
''Edith'' he continued ''Dis looks just like de perfect job for you. You can make yourself useful and keep out of trouble''. Edith knew exactly where Gru was going with his words. She couldn't argue about it at all no matter what so ever.
''Put your red coat on sweetie'' Lucy said ''It's very cold outside. We don't want you catching a chill and being ill as well''. Soon Edith was on her way clutching the basket and also wearing her brand new bright red coat.
She made her way towards the woods where Gru's mom lived on the very other side. Little did Edith know that there was a bad wolf that lived in the woods who liked to eat people right up for dinner! Fortunately for Edith in this case, Gru was secretly following with the freeze ray gun, but she didn't know that just yet.
As Edith approached the cottage of Gru's mum. There was the big bad wolf! But little did it know Gru was right up on its tail! Then before the wolf could do anything else. Gru blasted it with the freeze ray gun and yelled the usual ''Freeze Ray!''.
Edith turned round and saw the frozen to death wolf, her jaw dropped open in amazement. Gru saw her expression and explained what had been going on all the time. ''Eet's ok little keeton'' he soothed ''I was just making sure dat de big bad wolf didn't eat you up''.
Gru then used the key to unlock the door and he and Edith went inside to see Grandma, Gru's mum.
