The Joker let out a blood chilling laugh, backlit by a large spotlight. "And now, Gotham will be it's doom! And there's nothing you can do about it!" he said, leaning down to look a captured Batman right in the eyes. "With one simple press of a button, Gotham will be gone!" Here he laughed again. "Harley?" he called out to his accomplice.
"Right here, Mistah J!" she said, bouncing up and handing him a cell phone.
"Prepare to meet your doom, Gotham!" Joker said triumphantly, pressing a button. Batman closed his eyes, waiting for the explosion.
"WHAT?" Joker screamed, glaring at the screen. "No signal? How could this happen?"
A small smile touched Batman's lips. "I do hate when that happens."
